This is an exciting time to join the Swimming Australia team as we embark on an unprecedented period of expanding the sport and our engagement with members, athletes, coaches, volunteers, participants, fans and Aussies who love swimming. Given the growth that is occurring in swimming, it s a pivotal time to join Swimming Australia in the exciting role in a newly formed, agile team as the Digital Marketing Coordinator. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, Digital & Fan Engagement, the Digital Marketing Coordinator is crucial to our sport in: Developing digital content that reflects our vision, purpose, values and strategy; Curating authentic content that is professional, best-practice and consistent in execution; and Posting content for digital platforms that is engaging and effective. The Digital Marketing Coordinator will be a creative thinker with a track record of developing content in a similar role with exceptional outcomes. Working as a member of the marketing team, your role will support key marketing functions whilst supporting other departments including Participation, Partnerships, High Performance, Operations and our member organisations. As Digital Marketing Coordinator, you will work closely with the business, partners and the broader Swimming Australia team to: - Provide creative content ideas to deliver engagement results for the sport, our events and our partners. - Build the profiles of athletes, coaches, our events and our sport. - Create compelling copy, posts and advertising campaigns for our social media accounts, apps and websites.

2 - Develop content to promote the sport, participation programs and events across our websites, social media and apps. - Provide best-practice targeting to drive growth and engagement for new customer acquisition on our social media channels, drive traffic to our websites and drive app downloads. The role will suit someone with a passion for sport particularly swimming. We are searching for a candidate who: - Has a great grasp of digital platforms and copywriting. - Has a track record of managing a significant volume of work, across multiple projects with the ability to quickly transform ideas into reality. - Has impressive communication skills (verbal, written and visual). - Has basic design program capabilities (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and is willing to learn. - Preferably, has: o Experience in the sporting, not-for-profit sector; and o Knowledge of swimming. 3 Key Position Areas CONTENT CURATION CONTENT MANAGEMENT & ANALYTICS Accountabilities Work with the marketing team to formulate Swimming Australia s engaging digital content plan across social, website, apps and extend to PR. Brainstorm and pro-actively generate innovative, relevant content ideas that will attract audiences through unique multimedia content, integrated with social and campaigns - extending content from events, squad training, camps and interviews. Collaborate to develop content strategy within the brand framework: o Hero (engagement attractions) o Hub (Profile pieces, BTS, themed series) o Hygiene (events, results, product promotion, community, news) Develop engaging content across the sport encompassing: o Performance (elite) Australian Dolphins, Event Camps, High Performance Centres and events o Pathway (LTS Club) Optus Splash, Optus Junior Dolphins, Clubs o Participation (recreational) Australia Swims, Swim 365, Masters Manage the overall content plan for digital channels in-line with the business strategy. Evolve SAL digital initiatives with a continuous improvement lens, including: o Utilise strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple digital channels and customer touch points for continuous improvements. o Implement campaigns to grow our digital footprint in-line with agreed KPIs. o Initiatives to increase engagement across all digital channels. o Stay abreast of industry developments and keep the team informed on new mechanics. Develop, populate and launch new digital projects including websites and apps. Identify trends and insights to optimise digital marketing spend and performance. Communicate successes and learnings to team and share insights to drive overall improvements. Monitor content for traffic acquisition, engagement and conversion results implementing new strategies and concepts to increase campaign success. Support marketing team with best-practice edm templates to drive sales conversion through multiple digital channels. Monthly reporting on traffic, engagement and digital footprint for the business to provide insights and learnings. Campaign reporting for our partners as required. Track app analytics for the junior participation and recreational apps to support development of commercial and participation growth. PEOPLE Forge strong relationships with key stakeholders across the industry. Collaborate with internal departments and member organisations to deliver content KPIs. Develop members within Swimming Australia with basic skills to allow rollout of creative work. A team player working seamlessly with the Digital Content Producer, Marketing Manager and Head of Marketing, Digital and Fan Engagement. 4 Key Position Areas Accountabilities MANAGE Proactively manage workflow, inbound requests and expectations. Research and liaise with internal and external stakeholders, for content generation and amplification across all channels. Demonstrate proactive initiatives to create efficiencies in the way we work across our business. Keep projects on track and work within tight deadlines. Develop system efficiencies for content production including assets and image library. Work towards Digital KPIs for Online & Social Media. Manage website updates as required for the business including copy-polishing content supplied.

5 Position Requirements Position Parameters 1. Qualifications Formal qualifications in marketing, communications or related discipline and knowledge. 2. Skills and experience Minimum 2+ years experience and knowledge working in digital marketing, preferably in a sports environment. Experience planning and implementing content for digital platforms across multiple channels and brands. Experience formulating original content ideas. Experience with CMS for managing website content and updates. Experience managing posts, boosts and advertising campaigns across digital channels. Experience with social, web and google analytics tools for reporting and insights. Demonstrated ability to communicate and influence people at all levels within the organisation. An eye for good design, with basic-level design program skills with a willingness to learn more. An ability to tailor communication to different audiences with a natural flair for copywriting and attention-todetail essential. A strong track record delivering effective digital campaigns and marketing solutions that resulted in significant growth. 3.
