6 Paint Booth Arrestors AMSP-2/DUSTGUARD Intake Air Filters AMSP-2 - Description AMSP-2 Panel Filters are designed to fit any standard Cross Draft Booth. They are normally found in the booth doors. Description AMSP-2 Filters are constructed of two synthetic layers sealed over a 144 gauge internal metal wire frame which allows a perfect sealing. A transversal spindle is welded at the center to ensure that the filter stays in place and an extra spindle is added for dimensions greater than 30.The first layer, dry and white, acts as a prefilter, traps the medium and large particles. The second layer, green with adhesive, retains the smaller particles. In addition, it can be installed in low pressure HVAC systems where a higher level of filtration is required over an AMSP-2 filter. The use of linked panels in side access systems facilitates the change out of the filters. Construction The DustGuard Filter is constructed of two synthetic media layers. The first layer of white polyester acts as a prefilter. The second stage is a dual density synthetic media with an added adhesive. The DustGuard is non-toxic and nonallergenic. The adhesive prevents the migration of the dust particles and increases its dust holding capacity.

They are normally installed on Paint Booth doors but can be also installed in low pressure HVAC systems. The use of linked panels is ideal for side access systems. 16 Paint Booth Arrestors - Pleated air filters MAXI AIR Intake Air Filters Description The MAXI AIR pleated air filter uses a fully synthetic media with an ASHRAE 52.2 average atmospheric efficiency of 30-35% and a MERV 8 rating. The synthetic polypropylene media is bonded to a metal backing giving its aerodynamic form. The media pack is enclosed and bonded at all points into a heavy duty, moisture resistant, beverage board frame. The MAXI AIR filter is a very popular choice for roof top and stand alone units and is an ideal upgrade from panel filters that tend to face load. These filters are ideal as prefilters to increase the life of a higher efficient final filter. The pleated configuration allows filtration of particles from 3 to 10 microns such as medium airborne pollutants. 18 Paint Booth - Pocket Filters AIR PAK Description Medium and high efficiency pocket filters offer the best filtration for the cost. Individual pockets are assembled into a sturdy galvanized header proving rigid support for the filter. The filter element is a fully synthetic fiber, neither shedding nor affected by humidity. A wide range of sizes are available. Efficiency levels: from 40% to 95%. Construction Media The synthetic filtering element consists of layered and blended polypropylene melt blown fibers attached to a dense polypropylene backing. Header A ¾ header of 24 gauge galvanized steel provides the strength of the assembled filter. Pockets Edges of each bag as well as internal strips are ultrasonically sealed to form the required spacing that allows uniform loading of dust and particles on the entire filter surface. Individual pockets are linked by an internal support which is assembly into a galvanized metal header. The filter is tested in accordance with the ASHRAE 52.2 fractional efficiency test method. The suggested temperature limit is 200 F.
