Increased leaching rates creation of high shear rates and small bubbles creates fast reaction rates Lower oxygen consumption through efficient mass transfer Live insertions and removal, no process downtime Intrinsically safe design Lower reagent usage Simple design and construction Robust, long life materials designed for the process The HyperSparge is a complete gas injection system consisting of several sub-assemblies that are designed to enable safe live insertion and removal of the sparger minimising process downtime. The HyperSparge is inserted into the process through a nozzle in the side of the vessel at waist height. This leaves the main components located outside the vessel for ease of access and maintenance. With a typical operating pressure of kpa(g) the HyperSparge will operate at oxygen pressures up to 1,000 kpa(g) and at temperatures up to 200ºC. The materials and construction are designed to be entirely oxygen safe under these operating conditions. Double valving systems fitted to each sparger prevent leakage. High quality materials provide long operational lives. A HyperSparge requires 15 minutes or less for inspection with no downtime of vessel or unit operation.
