Qualified to V95328, the bayonet mechanism provides fast and easy coupling, especially when the connector is situated in an awkward or hard to reach location. nvironmental protection to IP67 levels provides additional reliability and the flexibility to specify these rugged connectors in harsh applications such as in machine tools and factory automation. Supplied crimp contacts are gold-plated copper alloy. The bayonet coupling mechanism provides fast and easy mating, especially when the connector is situated in an awkward or hard to reach location. The connector s high resistance to vibration and shock provides foolproof performance in even the most rigorous application environments. nvironmental protection to IP67 levels provides additional reliability and the flexibility to specify these rugged connectors in harsh applications such as machine tools and factory automation. Supplied solder cup contacts are gold-plated over nickel. Optional crimp contacts are available, however the lenair IPT S series, with its industry standard rear-release crimp contacts and retention clip mechanism is better suited for all high-performance applications that require crimp contacts. Sealing members in the IPT series are made from resilient neoprene rubber. The standard insert material is synthetic rubber. There are 44 different size 16 and size 20 insert arrangements and nine shell sizes.
