1 REQUIREMENTS RELATING TO ARTICLES 3 & 4 OF THE STATUTORY ORDER /62/CE) RELATING TO PACKAGING AND PACKAGING WASTES PRODUCT/ TCHIPGARD edgeboard Article 3 : Essential Requirements 1) Requirements on the packaging manufacturing and composition to limit the packaging volume and mass in the acceptability limits of the customer. Limitation of the packaging volume and mass : ITW Gunther improves constantly its products in order to guarantee the most exact weight and volume while keeping the equivalent technical characteristics. Packaging composition : see product security sheet in Annexe 1 2) Requirements on the re-usable or enhanced value character of packaging to guarantee the recyclable, re-usable or enhanced value character of the product. Re-using : TCHIPGARD edgeboard can be re-used if later use conditions did not modify its functional properties Recycling : TCHIPGARD edgeboard is recyclable in paper mill (see Annexe 2). In some conditions, it is also recyclable directly by ITW Gunther. Energetic enhanced value : TCHIPGARD edgeboard is recyclable by incineration. See complement in Annexe 1 Enhanced value by compost : polyethylene presence doesn t allow the enhanced value by compost of TCHIPGARD edgeboard.

2 Article 4 : Requirements on heavy metals contents Reminder : total of the following heavy metals contents : lead, cadmium, mercury and chrome must not exceed over 100 ppm. TCHIPGARD edgeboard responds to the requirement on limit contents of heavy metals as specified in the order set by the CE order 94/62 See annexe 3 Fontaine les Luxeuil Benoît ISABEY Quality manager
