MS VIBRATING SCREENS

The operating principle of MS High-Efficiency Vibrating Screens sets new standards in industrial screening which means enhanced technical features. The high frequency oscillating energy is generated by electromagnetic heads aligned on supporting bridges.

The Vibrating Electromagnets usually give 4000 high frequency cycles to the stainless steel mesh with a Max amplitude of 700 microns as oscillating range, anyway the energy supplied to each head is adjustable and variable All electromagnets are independently managed by the electronic switchboard in terms of intensity and frequency The heads are mounted directly on the screening mesh in the most appropriate positions around the entire surface to provide different types of vibration that can be varied to suit the individual requirements of each material and the different types of separation required. By tilting the screen and selecting the most appropriate mesh hole size, extremely accurate separation is achieved even when large quantities of material are being fed through.

For the purpose of obtaining different grain sizes, vibrating screens are available with one and two nets: 1 Net = 2 grain size fractions 2 Nets = 3 grain size fractions This operating principle ensures that the machine is completely static and that the mesh frame and the structure are oscillation free. The angle of screening deck is adjustable ranging from 30 to 45 degree angle in order to adapt to infeed material characteristics. Furthermore in several cases, we instal a 1 to 3 ratio rectangular mesh slot so as to increase the passing area. An MS feeder can be installed when the material is not fed perpendicular to the screen feed port. A dust collecting system on the screening deck and in the frame facilitates screening process.

VIBRATING SCREENS SELF-CLEANING SYSTEM All MS Vibrating Screens are available to order fitted out with our automatic brush system. These brushes are mounted beneath the mesh frames to ensure continuous cleaning of the screening sector and consequently improve screening. The brushes are driven by a double-acting pneumatic cylinder with adjustable end stroke dampers. The cylinder is controller by an electro-pneumatic panel which has facility for adjusting the time the cylinder operates. Moreover the electonic switchboard is equipped with a maximum intensity timed setting which can shake the meshes to get rid of possible flakes

VIBRATING SCREENS AUTOMATIC OPENING SYSTEM All MS Vibrating Screens are available to order with manual or electrical operated hydraulic unit which tilts the screen to provide easy access for maintenance and replacement of the mesh frames

VIBRATING SCREENS HEATER SYSTEM For moist and hygroscopic materials like talc, phosphates, limestone, our screen can be equipped with an automatic heating system which creates a controlled short circuit to keep the mesh hot, however never exceeding 45 degree C temperature in order to avoid mesh deformation. The Vibrating Screen Heater System prevents lumps forming on the mesh, consisting of a set of copper bars installed at the ends of the net and connected to power cables controlled by a transformer and relative control board. This innovative system breaks new grounds in the field of industrial screening since it solves conventional problems caused by the moisture content of the raw material processed, which impair the efficiency of the screening machine. Manfredini & Schianchi has been building industrial screens since 1970 and is still a reference point in this sector, thanks to the innovative content of all machines with the M&S trademark

CONTROL INSTRUMENT FOR SCREEN CR88 The net control instrument CR/88/MS is inserted after the screen and performs continuous analysis of the screened product.

The net control instrument CR/88/MS is inserted after the screen and performs continuous analysis of the screened product.

In the case of altered particle size distribution caused by the breakage of the screen net, particles of material larger than the screen net accumulate on the electronic detector (Proxi), activating an acoustic alarm and a warning light on the electric control panel.

Manfredini & Schianchi also succeeded in installing his screens in food sectors like sea salt, rock salt, sugar and powdered milk. In such circumstances the machine is totally made in stainless steel AISI 304 or 316, all packings are in foodstuff rubber and the electric switchboard and cables are upon need in fireproof configuration. A comparison of our abovementioned screen with a typical Mogensen sizer having same screening surface is : 40 % higher throughput Lifespan of mesh is 3 times longer Noise level does not exceed 80 db Static machine with no dynamic forces involved Possibility to size material at 100 microns
