HIGH TECHNOLOGY IN FIRE EXTINGUISHING foam concentrates YANGIN YÜKSEK TEKNOLOJİLERİ

Lotus fire supplies fire-fighting foam concentrates to meet a wide range of firefighting challenges, including industrial, marine, mining, municipal, oil, petrochemical, and transportation. Our aqueous film-forming foams (AFFF), Class A foams, wetting agents, low-expansion foam concentrates, and protein foams are suitable for ground and air attack, creating firebreaks, use with compressed-air foam systems. Lotus s fire-fighting foams are some of the most environmentally friendly products in their class in the world. Our AFFF products have 30-70% less fluorochemical content than other UL Listed products on the market, while our alcohol-resistant aqueous film-forming foam (AR-AFFF) has the lowest and best application rate in the industry. Because of their effectiveness, Bioline foam concentrates can achieve knockdown faster and with lower product volumes than similar agents, which can substantially lessen property damage and environmental impact. 2

CLASS A FOAM CONCENTRATES Bioline manufactures a wide range of Class A foam concentrates for use in a variety of firefighting applications. When proportioned with water, Bioline Class A foam concentrates change the water properties, reducing the surface tension and allowing greater penetration into all Class A fuels. A mixture of foaming and wetting agents, our Class A foam concentrates also give water a superior foaming ability so it clings to surfaces with minimal run off, which speeds extinguishment and reduces water usage. In addition to wildland operations, Bioline Class A foam is effective in fighting many deepseated fires, such as paper, tires, and wooden structures. : Clear liquid : 1.05 ( ) g/ml : Cp. 4 SYNTHETIC FOAM CONCENTRATES Bioline synthetic is a blend of high activity, synthetic, fatty alcohol sulphates, solvents and stabilisers. Bioline synthetic mixed with water and converted into finished foam via low, medium or high expansion foam making equipment combats fires by engulfing the area, restricting the supply of oxygen, cooling of the liquid surface, and the suppression of flammable gases evaporating from the hot liquid surface. Used as high expansion in complete filling of enclosed rooms the foam creates an inert atmosphere. Bioline synthetic should be used between 2% and 6% concentration in fresh or sea water if medium or high expansion foams are required depending on equipment used. : Clear liquid : 1.05 ( ) g/ml : < 20 Cp. 5 AFFF FOAM CONCENTRATES Bioline Aqueous Film-Forming Foam (AFFF) concentrates, when proportioned at the appropriate rate, form a vapor-suppressing seal for rapid control of hydrocarbon (diesel, gasoline, kerosene, etc.) spill fires. Bioline AFFF concentrates require low energy input to produce a high-quality foam blanket that floats on and quickly covers the fuel surface. Our AFFF agents provide rapid control, excellent burnback performance, and low application rates. Most Bioline AFFF formulations contain significantly less fluorine than other UL Listed products on the market, without compromising fire-extinguishment properties. Because of Bioline s successful synthesis of FCS from telomer-based fluorocarbons, our AFFF foam concentrates contain no perfluorooctane sulfonate (PFOS) or perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) ingredients. : Clear liquid : 1.05 ( ) g/ml : < 20 Cp. Mixing ratio with water : % 3 - % 6 5

A AR-AFFF FOAM CONCENTRATES Bioline Alcohol-Resistant Aqueous Film-Forming Foam (AR-AFFF) concentrates, when proportioned at the appropriate rate, form a vapor-suppressing seal for rapid control of both hydrocarbon fuel fires (diesel, gasoline, kerosene, etc.) and polar solvent fuel fires (alcohol, ketones, methanol, and MTBE products). Bioline AR-AFFF agents provide rapid control, excellent burnback performance, superior drain time, and low application rates. In addition, our AR-AFFF concentrates suppress the hazardous vapors emitted from fires and spills of these materials and are effective on Class A fires. Biodegradable and environmentally friendly, Bioline AR-AFFF foam agents are available as 1%-3%, 3%-3%, and 3%-6% concentrates. Because of Bioline s successful synthesis of FCS from telomere-based fluorocarbons, our AR- AFFF foam concentrates contain no perfluorooctane sulfonate (PFOS) or perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) ingredients. : Viscos liquid : 1.05 ( ) g/ml : Non Newtonian Mixing ratio with water : % 3x3 - % 3x6 6

PROTEIN FOAM CONCENTRATES Bioline protein-based fire-fighting agents, when proportioned at the appropriate rate, form a thick vapor-suppressing seal for rapid control of hydrocarbon (diesel, gasoline, kerosene, etc.) spill fires. Foam produced from our protein-based agents by foammaking equipment is tough, stable, and heat resistant, covers the burning hydrocarbon fuel surface rapidly, and provides superior burnback resistance. Bioline protein-based foam concentrates must be aspirated : Brown liquid : 1.12 ( ) g/ml : < 100 Cp. Mixing ratio with water : % 3 - % 6 7

FLUORO PROTEİN FOAM CONCENTRATES Bioline fluoroprotein foam concentrates contain fluorinated surfactants in a carefully formulated protein foam liquid base. This ensures the production of a stabilized fluid foam, when proportioned at the appropriate rate, that will rapidly cover the surface of hydrocarbon fuels. The high stability of the foam blanket produced by aspirating our fluoroprotein concentrates ensures against the risk of reignition and provides excellent burnback resistance. : Brown liquid Density (20 C0 : 1.12 ( ) g/ml : < 100 Cp. Mixing ratio with water : % 3 - % 6 8

FFFP FOAM CONCENTRATES Bioline Film-Forming Fluoroprotein (FFFP) foam concentrates, which contain hydrolyzed proteins and preservatives, together with a blend of fluorinated surfactants, provide superior performance on hydrocarbon spill fires. Incorporation of protein in the formulation produces a thick visible blanket when aspirated, with exceptional burnback resistance. Bioline AR-FFFP agents provide rapid control, low drain times, and minimal application rates. : Brown liquid Density (20 C0 : 1.12 ( ) g/ml : < 100 Cp. Mixing ratio with water : % 3 - % 6 9

A AR-FFFP FOAM CONCENTRATES Bioline AR-FFFP Avalanche is a high efficiency multipurpose alcohol resistant film forming fluoro protein foam concentrate. Bioline AR-FFFP is a liquid based on environmentally friendly natural protein and does not contain any polymer that makes general AR type foam concentrates viscous. Its high fluidity makes the induction easier and accurate through both portable and fixed inline proportioners even at extremely low temperatures. The advantage of Bioline AR- FFFP is the 3% induction ratio on all class B fires including polar solvents in fresh or seawater. The low surface tension of the water foam concentrate solution enables the aqueous film, although heavier than the burning liquid, to float on top of the hydrocarbon fuel surface. The specially selected fluorocarbon surfactants seal the bubbles against attack from polar solvents and also provide a highly effective floating foam layer on top of the polar solvents. : Brown liquid : 1.12 ( ) g/ml : < 100 Cp. Mixing ratio with water : % 3 - %

Can be used Hood systems, cafeterias, restaurants, and the possibility of oil fires in many industrial factories. : Clear liquid : 1.2 ( ) g/ml : < 20 Cp.
