1 CERTIFICATE OF CONFOMITY OF THE FACTORY PRODUCTION CONTROL 1488-CPR-0139/Z HDPE GEOMEMBRANE LLDPE

2 HDPE Geosynthetic poymer barrier geomembrane known by the trade name HDPE, is an insuating materia with a very wide range of appications in road construction, raiway and in municipa investments such as andfi seaings. Permanenty instaed in the ground, HDPE geomembranes meet various functions arising from design assumptions, such as improving physico-mechanica sub construction performance, strengthening the stabiity of sopes, changing the vaues and directions of groundwater fitration, form a permanent water resistance and gastight aperture in the ground. The advantages of HDPE geomembrane quicky proved to be in environmenta conditions and thanks to high mechanica strength, ack of microbioogica degradation, water resistance, ease of instaation, resistance to aging and many other features have become amost indispensabe in geotechnica projects. Many years of experience in manufacturing and seing geomembranes HDPE in conjunction with the aunch of a new production ine for tripe ayer geomembrane HDPE with its production based on proved, high-quaity materias make our products meet the high demands of users. By increasing the production capacity and obtaining even higher quaity for smooth and textured geomembranes, our products are abe to meet the needs of even the most demanding customers. HDPE geomembranes are of 5 3 m width and of 0.75, 0, 5, 0,,5 mm thickness for smooth and of 0, 5, 0, 5 mm thickness for textured geomembranes. The choice of foi thickness for the appication of seaing an object depends on its function. HDPE geomembrane meets a of the requirements of the harmonized standards: PN-EN 13491, PN-EN 1349, PN-EN 13493, PN-EN 13361, PN-EN 1336, PN-EN 1538 and most of the requirements of GRI GM 13 towards poymeric geosynthetic barriers determined by the Geosynthetics Institute of Texas Research Internationa Company (USA). Waste seas Hydrauic structure seas Municipa and industria andfis are investments which constitute a potentia threat to the environment. The risks arise from the possibiity of contamination of air, soi and ground and surface water. The construction of a modern andfi, taking into account the maximum extent of protecting the environment, is a very difficut, responsibe and demanding task that invoves the best technoogy, engineering soutions and ideas. Proper seaing, and thereby protecting against the infitration of eachate, is just as much of a key eement of the construction of a new andfi, the expansion of next quarters, as during rehabiitation or even cosure. That is why most designers, investors and constructors decide to use HDPE geomembrane for this purpose. The advantages of over other insuating materias invove: Physica properties and strength; Chemica resistance; Microbioogica resistance; Aging resistance; Greater guarantee of join tightness; Break eongation 800% causes the insuating shutter to fufi it s task even during arge buiding settement. The appication of foi as a barrier for preventing or restricting the fow of iquids: Seaing and recamation of municipa waste andfis; Seaing within iquid fue storage and distribution faciities; Municipa sewage treatment pants seaing (domestic and industria wastewater) and surry tanks; Construction of tunnes and underground structures; Construction of reservoirs and dams; Construction of channes. geomembranes HDPE have been used for road construction in Western Europe for many years. Their use for this type of appication was preceded by many years of observation and research of the materia. In order to protect the environment, in this case especiay the groundwater, appropriate seaing of the substrate is necessary. A particuar threat to the purity of groundwater are eaking toxic fuids fowing from the road surface, dust produced during grinding tires, brakes and pavement and sat used for meting snow and ice. Contaminated water is acquired by groundwater basins or roadside ditches and thereby is creating a significant risk of groundwater contamination and the softening of grounds susceptibe to moisture excess. To protect the environment, it is necessary to appy radica technica soutions: seaing through the use of impermeabe materias, construction of efficient drainage and purification systems seaed with the HDPE geomembranes road ditches and evaporation reservoirs. HDPE geomembrane is used in communication engineering for: Forming insuating ayers preventing from contaminated road runoffs; Strengthening the foundations of highways, airports, parking ots; Seaing of retention and evaporation reservoirs;

3 Seaing of evaporation and drainage reservoirs; Seaing of road ditches; Insuation of water resistant buiding eements in contact with the ground, i.e.: retaining was, bridge abutments, overpasses and communication tunnes, whie strengthening high and steep earthen was to prevent them from descenting, etc.; Seaing and protecting embankments. Laying and connecting shoud be aid on propery prepared substrate of smooth and uniformy densified surface ceaned of stones and other sharp eements which coud cause damage to the materia. Conditions during the aying of geomembrane: Air temperature it is recommended to perform the seaings at air temperature between +5 C and +40 C. Higher or ower temperatures have an adverse effect on transport, storage, handing, aying and connecting of particuar geomembrane stripes. Wind strong wind has an adverse effect on aying of particuar geomembrane stripes, aigning tabs whie performing the weds and on the ceaniness of the surface. Rain dampness of the contact surfaces which are being connected during precipitation has a significant infuence on the reduction of the quaity of performed weds. The appication of carefuy seected and tested best quaity raw materias in manufacturing HDPE geomembrane ensures effective weding of the materia. Whereas impementation of rigorous product testing procedures at every stage of its production in our own speciaized aboratory provides the highest eve of geomembranes! Weding with one wed Weding with two weds Sodering Whie performing the weds connecting particuar geomembrane stripes it is recommended to use methods that ensure high quaity of performed works. Surfaces of connected stripes shoud be free of contamination, dust, moisture and other foreign substances. They shoud aso be aigned over the entire ength of combined stripes with a weding hem appropriate for particuar technoogy. Textured geomembrane HDPE has smooth stripes on both edges which enabe weding and tightness testing Methods recommended for connecting geomembrane: Weding Sodering The sodering method is permitted ony in paces difficut to reach in which no other method can be appied as we as during the performance of a types of materia repairs. For this purpose we recommend a HDPE wire 4mm in diameter. The most common and recommended method of connecting is weding, impemented as a one wed version or two weds separated by a test channe version. In every case the seaing barrier shoud be oaded with ground so it is not ifted by the working form underneath pressure of water or gas. The geomembrane shoud not be buit-in directy under the surface of a roadside or an escarpment. The geomembrane shoud be stored and transported excusivey in pre-packaged ros aid horizontay on an aigned surface. No oads shoud be aid on the ros. The package of the ros shoud not be removed unti the buiding-in. During the oading, unoading and storage the ros shoud be protected from mechanica or chemica damage and from the infuence of high temperatures. The barrier shoud be aid so that it is aigned, without damage and fodings and so that it adheres we to the substrate. In case of appication of geomembrane to perform objects ocated on territories of water protection and to perform tight water or effuent reservoirs, it is recommended to avoid weding connections. Tightness of such connections shoud be carefuy checked after the competion of works. Connections of geomembrane shoud fufi the requirements of PN-B-1090:1997 Standard. If the poymer barrier is being aid on a gravey or stony ground or if it is being overwhemed by such ground it shoud be protected by a specia ayer. To avoid barrier stripes movement e.g. by the wind, they shoud be temporariy oaded. The barrier is exposed to damage during buiding-in. Therefore, its condition shoud be checked in every case before covering with protective or other ayers.
