5 Diploma thesis Design of lattice structures for additive manufacturing using Selective Laser Melting technology Supervisor: Ing. Daniel Koutný, Ph.D. Abstract: This paper analyze the quality of very small trusses that are basic members of these cells and evaluates its influence on mechanical properties. Using the proposed test specimens it was found that real dimensions of the trusses varies with size and orientation to the base platform. The obtained real dimensions of trusses were used as correction factors for the results of tensile tests of special truss specimens. α Test speciment Lattice structure 4/10
