2 BRAKE LINING M9020 Description M9020 is a heavy duty composite woven from yarns containing brass wire. It is suitable for light to heavy duty service, applications include: - Winches - Cranes - Hoists and other heavy duty industrial purposes. This dense, tough material exhibits exceptional resistence to heat and compression under high loads. M9020 has excellent fade and recovery stability. It is capable of running in oil immersed applications, however the coefficient of friction will decrease. M9020 is approved by Germanischer Lloyd for use in G/L classed marine winches (Cert.no: HH). 3 Friction Pad M3020 Description M3020 is a rigid moulded, medium high coefficient friction material. It contains a very small quantity of metallic powder. It is supplied in segments or slabs. M3020 has excellent fade and recovery stability. M3020 is a heavy duty, multipurpose material recommended for use in industrial and other applications such as off road vehicles and friction discs. The material exhibits superior strength and rigidity compared to other offered materials. M3020 may be bonded using any of the established adhesives recommended for friction material. However, to obtain the best results it is necessary to use a thermosetting adhesive.
