1 T-700 DF 4110V PARTICULATE-WATER FILMING REMOVAL FILTRATION ELEMENT THE FOLLOWING PAGES DEMONSTRATE THE PERFORMANCE OF FILMAX FILTRATION ELEMENT. THIS FILTRATION ELEMENT REMOVES WATER BOTH FREE DISSOLVED AT 99.1% EFFICIENCY REMOVES PARTICULATE -ß 5 = 500 ß 3 = 150 AT 99.27% EFFICIENCY ALSO REMOVES FILMING OR OIL DEGRADATION THAT PLATES OUT ON THE CONTACTS AND IS ONE OF THE FACTORS IN COKING The REAL Services reports show Beta testing done at Dixon Landing. In the before testing the filter had been in for at least 30 days, this test shows the increase in particles, filming, and fibers. The after test shows a drastic reduction in all areas of contamination in 30 days including removing accumulation of fibers, particles, and more importantly FILMING or OIL DEGRADATION California Ave., Suite 112 Corona, CA (888) fax: (951)

2 T-700 DF 4110V PARTICULATE-WATER FILMING REMOVAL ELEMENT APPLICATIONS The T-700-DF-4110V is designed to clean dielectric fluid. FABRICATION The T-700-DF-4110V contains 1800 square feet of surface area, of treated nitrose cellulose media with a wet strength additive wrapped around a center core. Hot melt adhesives bonds the media to the core and seals the outer perimeter of the collector screens. A patented positive sealing system eliminates any chance of fluid by-passing the media. EXPLANATION Unfiltered-fluid enters the housing and passes down through the layers of cellulose media capturing particulate contamination. At the same time, any water is absorbed into the cellulose media and filming or oxidized by-products adhere to the surface area of the layers of the media and clean dry petroleum fluid passes out of the housing leaving all forms of contamination behind. Specifications 1800 Square Feet of surface area of treated nitrose cellulose paper with a wet strength additive 99.1% Efficient Removal of Free and Dissolved Water with, holding capacity of 64 oz % Efficient at B 3 =150 at 3 micron average solids removal efficiency 186 grams particulate capacity Patented Non-Channeling Continuous Hot Melt Glue Seals 6 ¼ Element Diameter 18" Element Length 10 Micron Spacer Screens Pressure Treated Center Tube Top/Bottom Sealing O'Rings Non-slip handle 1-3 GPM flow rate based fluid type and the Turn Down Bolt Assembly installed. This filter interchangeable for Velcon equipment TP-2, TP-3, TP-3AD, TP-5E, TDS5-1, or any Velcon system using Filter vessel VF-71E TIOCCO Filtration 2045 California Ave. Ste Corona, CA Phone: (888) Fax: (951) Visit Our Web Site: WE RE SO GREEN TREES HUG US!

Sample: UN KNOW Operations 47,896 First Sample: 5/14 Recommendation(s): Keep this equipment under close observation for reduced power performance. This equipment shows increased concentrations of filming and ferrous metal wear particles. Possible candidate for OIL CHANGE or FILTRATION in the near future. Discussion of Test Results: The equipment particle concentration (EPC) of 1,919 is somewhat higher than expected for this type of equipment. Analytical results show the presence of 100 micrometer (um) copper alloy severe sliding wear particles. These copper particles are from the contacts. Test also show a higher than expected concentration of ferrous metal wear particles. These ferrous metal particles are in the micrometer (um) range. Test also show higher than expected concentrations of filming (varnish lacquer) as well as fiber material. The fiber material is in the forms of natural fiber material such as wool, cotton or cellulose (paper). The filming is in higher than expected concentrations and be quantitative in terms of Coking at 1.47 Abs/cm and Sulfate Compounds at 1.26 Abs/cm. The presence of water is below detectable limits of <10 pmm. Test suggest this equipment may be considered for an oil change or filtration in the near future. Note that this is the FIRST sample tested from this equipment. Sample: 5/14 M Operations 48,716 First Sample: 5/14 Recommendation(s): This equipment has been Up-graded to a normal operational status based on the decrease of filming, EPC level and contaminant debris. Continue normal operation and established maintenance practices. Sample this equipment at a routine time interval. Discussion of Test Results: The equipment particle concentration (EPC) has decreased for this equipment from 1,919 to 592. Analytical results show the continued presence of presence of copper alloy severe sliding wear particles decreasing in size from 100 micrometer (um) to 50um. Test also show the appearance of 50um white non-ferrous metal (tungsten alloy) metal particles. Analysis show a marked decrease in the concentration of filming (varnish lacquer) as well as fiber material. The various contaminants can be quantitative in terms of Coking has increased from 1.47 to 2.17 Abs/cm and Sulfate Compounds decrease from 1.26 to 1.04 Abs/cm. The presence of water is below detectable limits of <10 pmm. Test suggest this equipment may be considered for an oil change or filtration in the near future.
