1 Hamilton PRP Polymeric Columns Hamilton s Polymeric Reversed Phase (PRP) columns combine the characteristics of silica based and polymeric columns for improved versatility and longer life. With PRP columns, you can let your sample dictate the necessary separation conditions - they are not restricted to the acidic range of silica columns. PRP Columns PRP Columns Provide Enhanced Selectivity - Stable from ph 1 to 13. Acidic and basic compounds can be analyzed on the same column, by varying the ph of the mobile phase Long Column Life - Stable in any concentration of aqueous buffer or organic modifier Improved Sample Recovery - All PRP columns are made of poly (styrene-divinyl benzene) and contain no silanol groups. HC-40 is a calcium form, 4.0% cross-linked gel, while HC-75 is a calcium form, 7.5% cross-linked gel. 3 Mobile Phase Filters / Fittings HPLC Mobile Phase Filter Assembly, Ultra-ware This is a low cost, easy-to-use microfiltration system which consists of a straight-wall funnel, fritted support base, inner joint flask and an aluminum clamp. The support base has a coarse porosity glass frit and integral vacuum connection. The assembly uses 47 mm filters. The vacuum connection is positioned above the filtrate drip tip to prevent contamination of the vacuum line from solvent splattering. TS 40/35 joints. 5 Guard Column, Tubing HPLC Guard Column This is an easy-to-use, effective guard column system for your HPLC. It protects against contamination and pressure rise by column plugging. Guard column cartridges are replaced as needed simply by unscrewing the housing and placing in a new cartridge. Cartridges are 1 cm in length with 3 mm ID, and are available with different packings to match exactly the packing of the analytical column you are already using. All packings are 5 micron.
