The average (A) is calculated usig a weighted mea where the reciprocal of the square of each laboratory s combied ucertaity (C ), calculated from its stadard deviatio (S ) ad its ucertaity estimate (U ), is used as the weight (W ) for it s mea (M ). The stadard deviatio (S) is calculated as the square root of the reciprocal of the sum of the weights. U 1 is the combied ucertaity from homogeeity ad labs.
