2 quality service who can create the highest quality products for the AAC market? you can. innovation Refined Building Materials for Energy Efficiency Autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC), also known as autoclaved lightweight concrete, is a thermally insulating, lightweight, precast building material. In addition to excellent insulation and lightweight handling properties, AAC building materials provide fire and mold resistance for a wide variety of construction materials (blocks, wall and floor panels). Lightweight in design, these materials are perfect for quick and easy construction projects as they can be routed, sanded, and cut to size on site using standard carbon steel bandsaws, hand saws, and drills. Premium Aluminium Products for the AAC Market BendaLutz aluminium powders and pastes provide industry leading solutions for the AAC market. Our broad product portfolio provides AAC materials with precisely tuned density and unmatched consistency. From development to delivery, we accept no compromises when it comes to the quality, convenience or environmental friendliness of our products. BendaLutz Skawina Sp. z o.o., a wholly owned subsidiary of Sun Chemical Corporation, has been manufacturing aluminium powders and pastes for the AAC market since Responding to constant changes in the global market, we have differentiated our products from basic powder types for standard ( kg/m3) concrete grades, to advanced products with special admixtures and a modified hydrogen evolution Our Promise and How We Deliver We tailor solutions. We nurture ideas. And we bring the latest technology to market. With 100 years of experience, and a depth of resources from which to draw, we have the people, knowledge and products to make any project a success. Every hour of every day, we are working to deliver quality, service and innovation to our clients worldwide. 4 BendaLutz AAC Powders: Premium Aluminium Flake Powders for AAC BendaLutz offers a broad range of aluminium powders for the AAC market. These blowing agents provide controlled density and optimum results under various methods of production. The properties of the aluminium powders can be attributed in large part to the flake geometry and controlled manufacturing method. A key selection criteria is the target raw density of the finished AAC product. In general, lower density building materials require fine particle sizes and higher density goods require larger particle grades. Other factors related to AAC mix design and processing conditions can impact performance. Our experts are available to assist in the selection of the product best designed for your application. 6 BendaLutz AAC Pastes: Water Dispersible Aluminium Pastes BendaLutz AAC pastes provide for dustfree processing and significant improvements relative to handling and safety. These diethylene glycol based preparations are designed for aqueous systems and contain no hydrocarbon solvents. They are characterized by extended shelf life which makes them very desirable for regions with warmer climates. Relative to aluminium powders, Benda Lutz AAC pastes provide improved dispersion, higher formulation flexibility and can greatly reduce mixing times. Similar to powders, reactivity is greatly influenced by particle size and shape. Fine AAC pastes (like 57390/70 or 56390/70) result in lower density materials while coarser grades (like 57305/70 or 56315/80) provide higher density. The figure to the right demonstrates this type of inhibited response relative to standard products. This data is based on hydrogen generation measurements in a calcium hydroxide solution. The delay shown can take several minutes and can be modified to customer specifications. Products with a delayed response are generally denoted with a letter designation after the product code representing the type of admixture used for inhibition (for example 56380/80 C is a paste with 80% solid content and a delayed reaction).
