15 TEST PROCESS 1. Test for Lead (Pb), Cadmium (Cd) contents(iec 62321:2008 Ed.1 Sec.10): Put weighed sample into a suitable vessel Add suitable reagent Digest sample in vessel Checked by appropriate measurements Residue Filtration Analyzed by ICP-OES Make up with deionized water Solution 2. Test for Mercury (Hg) contents (IEC 62321:2008 Ed.1 Sec.7): Put weighed sample into a suitable vessel Add suitable reagent Digest sample in microwave digestion vessel Checked by appropriate measurements Residue Filtration Analyzed by ICP-OES Make up with deionized water Solution 3. Test for Chromium (Cr(VI)) contents (IEC 62321:2008 Ed.1 Annex C): Weigh sample in a conical flask Add digestion solution and continue stirring while heating at Adjust the ph of the solution to 7.5±0.5 and transfer the solution to a volumetric flask Analyze the solution by using UV-Vis with wavelength set at 540 nm Adjust the ph of the solution to 2.0±0.5 Add test solution Make up with deionized water 4. Test for Chromium(Cr(VI)) contents (IEC 62321:2008 Ed.1 Annex B): Measure surface area of test sample Extraction with boiling deionized water Cool the vessel to room temperature Analyze the solution by using UV-Vis with wavelength set at 540 nm Add test solution Make up with deionized water Report #15WB C Rev. 0 - Page 15 of Washington Laboratories, Ltd.

16 5. Test for PBBs & PBDEs contents (IEC 62321:2008 Ed.1 Annex A): Put weighed sample into a suitable vessel Extract sample by soxhlet extraction with Organic solvent Concentrate the extract Analyze by GC-MS Make up with organic solvent Transfer the extract into a volumetric flask Report #15WB C Rev. 0 - Page 16 of Washington Laboratories, Ltd.
