Specially shaped flights with a different radius on the edges to improve the co-efficient of friction between the product and chain surfaces. Small gap between flights to improve product stability. Bidirectional. The new 878 TAB series enables the designer and the manufacturer of sideflexing conveyors to reduce the average radius of the curves. This chain is suitable for solving conveying problems in confined spaces. Can also be used where products are conveyed on an incline or decline and accumulation may occur. The characteristics of this chain make this product unique in its design. 6 882 BEVEL SIDEFLEXI CHAINS SIDEFLEXI CHAINS Series 882 BEVEL The 882 type has a larger pin size hinge geometry and because of a well balanced distribution of the material it has an excellent carrying load capacity comparable with the 821 double hinge chain. The standard widths are produced up to 254 mm ( ) making it compatable with the 821 series and offers the largest conveying area in the flat top chain products. Note: This chain is available in three versions: Sideflexing chains with bevelled guide shoes series 882 BEVEL. Sideflexing chains with hold-down tabs series 882 TAB. Pin material: Ferritic Stainless Steel Plastic magnetic system chains do not have tabs or bevels shoes, it is the ferritic Stainless Steel pin in the chain that is attracted by the magnets embedded in the curve. There are several advantages when using this new series of chains which include versions for straight running and sideflexing applications (magnetic system), chains for product accumulation (LBP series) and for inclined sections (chains with rubber pad). The structure of the conveyors does not change (upper spacers) as the standard of the hinge width of 57 mm enable the use of the same guides with any of the above versions. NEWS SERIES!
