2 ABOUT US : Established in the year 2016 is one of the distinguished manufacturers and exporters of drying catalysts. We have our manufacturing unit in Rohtak, Haryana near Delhi borderder. CHEMELYNE SPPECIALITIES : produces a wide variety of metallic carboxylates, which are reaction products of metals and organic acids. Our extensive range of driers is based on a large variety of metals, acids and hydrocarbons. In some cases neat solvent-less liquid metal soaps are also available. The behavior of a metal soap or its solutions is governed solely by the chemical function of the metal while the organic acid merely helps convert the metal into a soluble or solvent compatible form. METALLIC CARBOXYLATES Driers for oxidative coating: Drier metals are traditionally divided into two groups: active (or primary) and auxiliary (or secondary) though it is an arbitrary classification. Driers that promote oxygen absorption followed by peroxide formation and decomposition are termed active; auxiliary driers, while exhibiting no catalytic action on their own, appear to synergistically enhance the functioning of the active drier metals. It has been postulated that secondary driers function by forming complexes with primary drier metals. Active (Primary) Driers : cobalt, zirconium, lead, etc. Auxiliary (secondary) Driers : calcium, manganese,, zinc, etc

4 PRODUCT RANGE Cobalt Octoate Cobalt octoate is the most active surface drier. Cobalt effects rapid surface drying and is generally used in conjunction with auxiliary driers. It is usually added at 0.05 to 0.4 % based on vehicle solids. It is a strong oxidant It is compatible with all surfaces coating media. Lead Octoate Lead Octoate is one of the auxiliary driers also called as through drier. Lead octoate is used as active or top drier. It promotes hard, through drying throughout the entire film and also promotes flexibility. Manganese Octoate Manganese promotes both 'surface dry' and 'through dry', although it is less efficient then cobalt and lead in air drying finishes. In baking finishes manganese is superior to cobalt as it does not cause imbrutement. Manganese also gives better result than cobalt in low temperature drying performance and does not suffer from wrinkling under high humidity conditions. Calcium Octoate Calcium is an auxiliary drier. It is used both in combination with lead and as a partial replacement for lead in vehicles that show poor tolerance for lead. When used along with zirconium in lead free systems, calcium driers find important application as pigment wetting agents and reduce loss of dry problems. Zinc Octoate Zinc Octoate is an auxiliary drier used as a pigments dispersing agent. The pigment such as titanium dioxide and carbon black has the tendency to absorb driers which reduces loss or effect of drying rate. The absorption of driers in pigments can be reduced by grinding the pigments with Zinc Octoate to retain the drying capacity of the paint media. Zirconium Octoate Zirconium Octoate is a very efficient auxiliary drier. It is use in paint media with Cobalt and other auxiliary driers to boost up the performance of paints and varnishes. Zirconium Octoate is the best replacement of Lead octoate when used in combination with Cerium or Calcium Octoate in the lead free paint systems.
