REFRAMO Kadaň, s.r.o. and KERAVIT Ostrava, spol. s r.o. and Moravské keramické závody a.s., Rájec-Jestřebí are officially operating as one. The merger came into force on an appointed date of and resulted into establishment of the new single business entity SEEIF Ceramic, a.s. There is rising domestic leader in the production of fireclay products and ceramic refractory materials, primarily for steel and foundry operations in the Czech Republic.

8 Plant 01 MKZ Fireclay Factory The factory producing a fireclay in Rájec-Jestřebí, Plant 01 MKZ Fireclay factory was originally used as a brickyard. It was built in 1908 and rebuilt in 1911 to produce the fireclay. An annual plant capacity is composed of three bottom-car kilns and one tunnel kiln about tons. The plant produces mainly shaped refractory products: casting fireclay bricks stopper tubes and nozzles stove and structural fireclay bricks ceramic heating elements Applicated technologies: semidry pressing or extrusing plastic pressing or extrusing hand and machine moulding controlled firing

10 Plant 02 MKZ Refractory Masses This fully automated operation in Rájec-Jestřebí began the production in June Branch is mainly focused for manufacturing of the ecological tap hole clays for sealing of blast furnaces tap holes. Annual plant capacity is determined mainly by weighing of the Eirich mixer and the method of packaging around tons. Plant produces: tap hole clays for blast furnaces ramming runners mass ramming mixes for casting ladles ramming mixes for cupolas moulding mixes dried sands for foundries refractory mortars and cements

12 Plant 03 KERAVIT Seat of the production plant is in Ostrava-Vítkovice. Since its founding in the 1-th mid. of 19th century, the plant focused on meeting the needs of metallurgical steelmaking operations in Vítkovice ironworks, in particular in the range of production fireclay shapes for gating systems. Annual capacity of the plant consists of two tunnels and three bottom-car kilns about tons of shaped products an about tons of unshaped products. plant produces mainly casting fireclay bricks it is European leader in the manufacture of high alumina gating systems for casting ingots plant produces structural refractory bricks for common and special industry needs and also produces unshaped refractories Applicated technologies: pressing the dry or semidry mixture matter pressing or extrusing from plastic matter hand and machine moulding controlled firing

14 Plant 04 REFRAMO Founded in Plant seat is in Kadaň in the Ustí region. The production range is formed by shaped fireclay products for castings assumed from company Rath AG, stove and structural fireclay bodies. An annual plant capacity is formed by the tunnel, bottom-car and bell kiln about tons of burnt products. 16 Plant 05 MKZ Svitavy Founded in The plant produces mainly wide range of goods based on graphite-fireclay compound and destined for the foundry and steel industries. An annual plant capacity is composed of eight chamber kilns and a drying capacity of the drying room about tons. 19 Casting fireclay from production plants 01, 03, 04 Single use fireclay products for foundries and steelworks fits as the assembly of ceramic gating system during iron casting. They are suitable for castings from 5 kg up to hundreds tons and are characterised by increased resistance against a penetration by molten metal. Foundry holloware production range consists of funnels, tubes, adapters (reductions), elbows, T & L pieces, crevices, splash cores and other specialty shapes with inner diametres from 30 mm up to 120 mm. Shapes are available in several grades according to the Al 2 O 3 content. 21 High alumina shapes for gating systems from production plants 01, 03 Refractory shapes with increased resistance to wear, refractoriness and strength are designed for high quality castings and used mainly as bottom pouring assembly for the ingot gating system. Is produced a range of gating holloware funnels, sleeves, centre bricks, runners and other shapes. There are more grades formed from a clay with the Al 2 O 3 content of % based on andaluzite, bauxite, mullite or corundum. There are produced zircon silicate shapes (44 % ZrO 2 ). 26 Graphite stoppers and nozzles from production plant 05 Graphite stoppers and nozzles are shaped ceramic products, which form part of the sealing system in the foundry ladles and metallurgical industries. Grades: graphit fireclay for less demanding ways of casting corundum fireclay for demanding casting and special steel with prolonged casting time sical fireclay for demanding casting and special steel with prolonged period of a casting and continuous casting Monoblock stoppers GK 65/25 are shaped products based on a graphite and refractory temper material, bonded with ceramic bond. it forms part of the sealing system in the long casting they are designed for aluminum and gray cast iron they are made up to a maximum length of 1200 mm

28 Graphite crucibles from production plant 05 Graphite crucibles, lids and adapters are refractory shapes made based on graphite and fireclay grog temper, bonded with a ceramic bond. grade of crucibles, lids and adapters also refers to graphite products (blocks, plates, chips, larvals, dampers, etc.) with identical properties and similar uses in crucibles is metal melted, cleaned, mixed, maintained and transported to the casting. 30 IZOSPAR insulating shapes for risers from production plant 05 Izospar is refractory insulating brick with a low density. It is characterized by good thermal insulation properties and easy workability by grinding and cutting. Used mainly as a thermal insulation of risers in foundry and also as a thermal insultion of aggregates with maximum operating temperature up to C. Come in the shape: bricks, plates, slices, "books", wedges, circular bandage, bandages, oval with a bandage sideways. 32 Heating elements from production plant 01 Heating elements are refractory shapes with built-in heating element, which is characterized by very good thermal properties. They are part of a radiator for ecological heating of residential rooms. The heating elements are supplied with several types of heating coils according to customer requirements. 34 Tap hole clays from production plant 02 They are designed to seal of furnace tap holes. Curing materials needed for the tap hole sealing is from two to six minutes. Tap hole clays are characterized by high resistance to the erosion, optimum specific consumption and are suitable for intensive operation of blast furnaces.
