Telephone number: O: Extn.3036 R: Profile: Research Interest: Material Science; Multiferroics; Spintronics Teaching Interest: Dr. Alimuddin passed his M.Sc. in 1970 with specialization in solid state electronics from AMU, Aligarh and joined M.Phil leading to Ph.D. in Mossbauer spectroscopy and developed theory to study single crystals. He obtained M. Phil. degree in 1973 and PhD degree in He joined Physics Section (now Applied Physics Department) in He is actively engaged in research and produced one M. Phil. & five Ph.D. and published large number of papers in National and International refereed journals of repute and in National and International conferences/symposia. Now he is supervising two students for their Ph.D. degree. He also guided M. Tech students for their projects and seminar reports. He designed various Physics courses and taught B.Tech and M.Tech classes. He also introduced quiz tests to keep the students busy with their studies. He also set research Lab Advanced Materials and some new experiments in B.Tech Physics Lab. 1
