1 THE DIGITAL TO PHYSICAL PRODUCT LIFECYCLE COMPANY MANUFACTURING REINVENTED Markforged 3D Printers Product Portfolio

2 INTRODUCTION Markforged has changed the way products are made. No other printer is designed from the ground up hardware, software, and materials to uniquely create plastic, carbon fiber, and now metal parts with a beautiful surface finish, stiffness, and temperature tolerance. There s a Markforged 3D Printer available for a wide range of applications and environments from the factory floor to the office. Compact, desktop systems can produce productionquality parts in a variety of plastics and composites suitable for applications in the aerospace, automotive, life sciences, and high technology industries. Adaptive experts can help you integrate the Markforged products with your existing PLM software applications to provide a seamless design to physical product lifecycle. 3 METAL 3D PRINTING Metal X The Metal X is the world s first Atomic Diffusion Additive Manufacturing (ADAM) machine. It s up to 10x less expensive than alternative metal additive manufacturing technologies and up to a 100x less than traditional fabrication technologies like machining or casting. Affordable, reliable, and easy to use, the Metal X print system gives you everything you need to go from design to fully functional metal parts faster than ever before. POST PROCESSING EQUIPMENT FURNACE: SINTER-1 FURNACE: SINTER-2 WASHING STATION: WASH-1 The Markforged Sinter-1 is a high performing, high value furnace - it s affordable, sizable, and reliable. Featuring 4760 cubic cm of working volume, The Sinter-1 effortlessly converts brown (washed) parts into their near fully dense final metallic form. Built on 30 years of Metal Injection Molding (MIM) technology, it is ideal for sintering medium sized parts and small batch production. With a huge active hot-zone (22,283 cubic cm), the Sinter-2 fits the full build volume of the Metal X. It s the perfect solution for larger parts or batch production. This workhorse furnace sinters the full range of commercial grade metals from their brown (washed) state into fully dense metal parts. The Wash-1 immerses the green part in a specialized fluid which removes the primary binding material, leaving the part semiporous so the remaining binder can easily burn off during sintering. This debinding step purifies the final metal part and helps keep your sintering furnace clean. Furnace Dimensions: 1067 mm x 483 mm x 406 mm Furnace Volume: 4760 cubic cm Peak Temperature: 1300 C Furnace Dimensions: 1778 mm x 1016 mm x 1270 mm Furnace Volume: 22,283 cubic cm Peak Temperature: 1300 C External Dimensions: 609 mm x 685 mm x 1067 mm Washing Volume: 18,356 cubic cm

4 MATERIALS 17-4 STAINLESS STEEL Combining high strength, corrosion resistance and exceptional hardness, 17-4 stainless steel is widely used in the aerospace, medical and petroleum industries. LAYER HEIGHT TOLERANCE SINTERED DENSITY 50 μm ±50 μm (geometry dependent) 99% 6061 & 7075 ALUMINUM As a general purpose aluminum, 6061 combines good machinability, strength, and weldability. It can additionally be anodized with a good finish. We use it for many of the machined components in the Mark X Aluminum is one of the strongest aluminum alloys. With good fatigue strength and a high strength-to-weight ratio, this alloy is stronger than common structural steels (A36, 1018). We use it on the kinematic coupling in the bed of the Mark X. It s also common in aerospace and automotive racing. A-2 & D-2 TOOL STEEL A-2 tool steel is air-hardened with excellent impact resistance. We use it for punches, dies, and form tooling on the Mark X. The high carbon and chromium content of D-2 tool steel provides great hardness and abrasion resistance (but not as tough as A-2). D-2 is often used for cutting tools. INCONEL (BETA) IN Alloy 625 The strength of Inconel combined with its impressive heat resistance makes it ideal for heat and pressure shielding applications. This Nickel-based superalloy is commonly used in jet engines and medical applications, and is very hard to machine. It is also very chemically resistant. TITANIUM BETA Ti-6Al-4V Bearing the highest strength-to-weight ratio of any metal, Titanium 6-4 is ideal for lightweight applications and has both high tensile strength and fatigue resistance. This biocompatible material is widely used in medical applications such as orthopedic joint replacements.

5 SOFTWARE EIGER With automatic version control, real-time fleet management and cloud-based collaboration, Eiger is the world s most advanced 3D printing software. Designed from the ground up to make manufacturing simpler, Eiger enables you to print plastic, metal and composite parts straight from your browser. SECURITY Single Sign-On Two-Factor Authentication SOFTWARE DELIVERY Cloud-Based Local Storage Fully On-Premise (OPTIONAL) PRODUCTIVITY Printer Fleet Management Organization Admin Portal EARLY-ACCESS UPDATES Early Access to New Design Features & Printing Capabilities HARDWARE INDUSTRIAL SERIES Industrial grade large-format printers deliver exceptional accuracy, reliability and repeatability. These printers are the go-to solution for manufacturing tooling (Jigs, Jaws, Tools, Fixtures). Save time and money printing tools previously machined out of aluminum. X3 X5 X7 Industrial grade performance starts with an all-aluminum unibody enclosure built around an ultra flat gantry system. Add a machined aluminum stage with kinematic bed coupling, and a precision ground print platform. Then close the loop with software - instrumenting each machine with a full sensor suite including motor encoders and a calibration laser so accurate it can compensate for single digit changes in room temperature. Build Volume (in MM): 330 x 270 x 200 Layer Height: 50 μm Technology: FFF Featuring the unique dual nozzle print system, the X5 unlocks the ability to weave a strand of Continuous Fiberglass throughout a part to make it as strong as metal. Add that to the all-aluminum unibody enclosure, ultra-flat gantry system, machined aluminum stage with kinematic bed coupling, motor encoders and calibration laser, and tie it all together with software. Build Volume (in MM): 330x 270x 200 Layer Height: 50 μm Technology: FFF & CFF Built from the ground up for reliable performance, the X7 delivers breakthrough quality and precision in 3D printing. The top-of-the-line industrial grade platform features a strengthened dual nozzle print system that supports Continuous Carbon Fiber and Kevlar reinforcement. Laser inspection scans parts mid-print to ensure dimensional accuracy for the most critical tolerances. Build Volume (in MM): 330 x 270 x 200 Layer Height: 50 μm Technology: FFF & CFF
