NORRES Product Quality: Raw Material Pre-PUR General: Polyurethanes are not all the same! As with all raw materials and fi nished goods, there are large differences in quality here as well.

4 NORRES Product Quality: Raw Material Pre-PUR General: Polyurethanes are not all the same! As with all raw materials and fi nished goods, there are large differences in quality here as well. For many of its hoses, NORRES uses a special mixture called Pre-PUR, containing an ester-polyurethane or an ether-polyurethane. Compared to many other plastics, rubber formulations and simple polyurethanes, the block copolymers, which consist of hard and soft Pre-PUR segments, have superior properties. The hard segments of Pre-PUR provide extremely high mechanical stability, while at the same time the soft segments give the material high fl exibility and dynamic load capacity. Our hoses made from Pre-PUR raw materials differ as follows from many of the hoses commercially available: consists of special and high-quality, premium ester- and ether-polyurethanes. Choosing a polyurethane just one level of quality lower can cause a reduction of more than 30% in abrasion resistance. The use of high-purity raw materials and a narrow tolerance range ensure a high level of quality. excellent mechanical stability low abrasion excellent chemical and hydrolytic resistance has extremely long molecular chains (high molecular weight and a lot of crystalline domains and morphology). During chemical, hydrolytic and thermal degradation, molecular chains are generally shortened as a result of chain scission. HT-PUR The polymer is cross linked in an innovative process. As a result, the material shows a 40 percent improvement in mechanical stability during heat exposure. This deadline shall also apply for hidden defects, unless such defects are not determinable with reasonable examinations. ) If an item supplied by us is defective, a priority right to remedy the defect as defined in 439 Section Civil Code [BGB] exists, subject to the condition, however, that we choose how the defect is remedied. The purchaser can reject the type of subsequent performance chosen by us to remedy the defect, if this is not reasonable for it. Our rights resulting from 439 Section 3 Civil Code [BGB] remain unaffected. 3) If we choose to eliminate the defect, we can demand that a) the defective items are at our cost sent to us for repair and subsequent return to the place of performance or b) the purchaser has the defective items ready for inspection and if necessary for repair by us or a third party commissioned by us. The remedy of the defect is not considered a failure until the second attempt to remedy the defect remains unsuccessful. 4) If due to legal provisions in accordance with these terms the vendor has to pay compensation for damage which was caused by slight negligence, the liability of the vendor is limited: The liability only exists in the event that significant contractual duties are breached and is limited to the damage typically foreseeable upon conclusion of the contract.
