SERIES P FILTERS Oil removal from degreasing baths Skimming of the surface of rinsing and pickling baths Agitation of pickling baths Filtration of flux baths

OIL REMOVAL FROM DEGREASING, PICKLING, OR RINSING BATHS The baths are continuously treated by circulation through hydrophobic micro-fibres which absorb the oil in emulsion, without removing the surface active agents. The equipment comprises a P51 filter fitted with a centrifugal pump (output 20 to 40 m 3 /h) and four OIL-TECH micro-fibre containers able to collect up to 24 litres of oil. The filter is connected to the bath by 50 mm flexible or rigid pipes. Advantages: 1. Continuously removes emulsified oil and floating oil 2. Prevents the oil being drawn into the pickling baths and oil release (oil slick phenomena) 3. Extends the service life of the bath and reduces the cost of destruction 4. Limits line downtime for bath replacement 5. Improves the quality of the parts treated OIL-TECH container The solution flows into the container which is filled with a charge of micro fibres in a canvas bag which is easy to remove in order to replace the charge of micro fibres. The micro fibres have great holding for hydrocarbon oil. They are hydrophobic and do not absorb water or acids/alkalis. On average, a charge of 11 litres micro fibres (approximately 0.7 Kg) recovers 6 litres of oil.

SKIM-TECH Brevet SIEBEC CLEANING OF THE SURFACE OF RINSING AND PICKING BATHS To the filter Union nut Support bracket (option) Bolt-on version Magnet version Weld-on PP version Floating device Sucks the top layer of baths Large travel to follow bath level The SKIM-TECH floating skimmer combined with a filter and/or a de-oiler enables the surface of the bath where the pollutants collect to be sucked up (floating oil, particles, etc). Its patented hinged design enables it to accept differences in bath levels of 240 mm. Advantages: 1. Continuously cleans the pollutants on the surface of the baths 2. Prevents pollutants being drawn into the flux bath 3. Improves the quality of the parts treated

PICKLING BATH AGITATION G A LVA N I S I N G Creation of a laminar flow in the acid pickling bath, with a centrifugal circulation pump (output up to 57m3/h) and rigid pipes installed at each end of the bath. The pipes are designed to create a homogenous laminar flow from one end of the bath to the other. Advantage: 1. Prevents ferrous ions collecting on the surface of parts 2. Increases the pickling speed and accelerates the cycle time, especially at low temperatures 3. Makes the picking more even over the whole surface area of the parts 4. Improves the quality of the parts treated Pump A32 PP - Pump body made of injected plastic (Polypropylene). - Closed centrifugal pump impeller. - Excellent resistance to strong acids. - Max fluid temperature = 80 C. - Very good eciency. - Maximum flow rate (m3/h) = 57 m3/h. - Maximum manometric head (m) 47 m. - Carbide/carbide mechanical seal, very resistant to wear.

FILTRATION OF FLUX BATH OR WATER RINSE TANKS FIL-TECH cartridge Very high capacity filter cartridge (5 m² of filter surface). Washable and reusable, simple to install and remove without tools. Filtration rating of microns, depending on the application. To remove ferrous sludge particles before the zinc bath. Oxidation of the iron in the flux bath by air injection or the addition of oxygenated water and filtration of the particles of oxidised iron on L-TECH pleated cartridges. Advantages: 1. Maintains the iron concentration in the flux bath at less than 1 g/litre 2. Increases the service life of the flux bath & water rinse tank 3. Improves the quality of the parts treated by preventing fluxing faults due to the presence of iron
