1 Curriculum Vitae Brief Profile: 1-2 paragraphs (not exceeding 500 words) Dr.D.Lenin Singaravelu is working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Production, National Institute of Technology, Trichy. He did his Ph.D in Metallurgical and Department from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee in the year He did his M.E.(Production ) and B.E. (Mechanical and Production) from Annamalai University in the year 2002 and 2001 respectively. He has one Indian patent in the field of brake friction materials. He has published many research papers in reputed international journals. He has presented his research article in 33 rd SAE Brake Colloquium and Exhibition, held at Charleston, South Carolina, USA by getting fund from DST-SERB under Travel Scheme (ITS). He has organized a DST- SERB Sponsored Two Days National Workshop on Brake Friction : Past, Present and Future and also two TEQIP sponsored short term courses at NIT Trichy. His areas of expertise are Brake Friction, Non-Conventional Machining, Shape Memory Alloys, Processing of Polymer Products and Joining of Advanced. He was the technical committee member for various national and international conferences across India and abroad. He has reviewed many research articles in various reputed Journals.
