1 Parts In Minutes Rapid Prototyping Polyurethanes

2 Rapid Prototyping Polyurethanes In today s ultracompetitive world market, success can often be reduced to a matter of time. Vantico is the global market leader in tooling materials and offers rapid prototyping solutions that help speed your products to market by reducing the time from concept to production. Vantico s range of Parts In Minutes rapid setting polyurethanes supports the ultrafast reproduction of prototypes that simulate both the appearance and physical characteristics of moulded thermoplastics, allowing hundreds of functional, productionlike parts to be cast in less than a week. Engine cover 52 With excellent dimensional accuracy and fine reproduction of detail, cast into silicone, polyurethane or epoxy moulds, these prototype parts are suitable for field testing, market research, concept verification or engineering reviews. Injection via MMD machine Where large number of thermoplastic replicas are required, these can now be produced from the Parts In Minutes polyurethane systems which are specially formulated for use in mix meter dispensing equipment. Compared with the production time of traditional PU systems, Parts In Minutes materials can produce up to 40 parts per day. This means design engineers can have quality prototypes and parts that simulate the appearance and replicate the performance properties of injection moulded thermoplastics, available for testing in as little as utes. 4 The range of polyurethanes available from Parts In Minutes gives great versatility across a range of applications and industries. Parts from the smallest component to large pieces weighing at least eight kilo s or more can be produced in less than an hour. For larger pieces, polyurethanes are available that have a slower gelling time to ensure the whole part can safely be poured into the mould before it starts setting. This diverse range of performance characteristics enables design engineers to choose the system that most closely resembles the thermoplastic being used for the end product, such as ABS, polypropylene or polyethylene. Jetski housing Automotive bumper blend Flexible hose Parts In Minutes polyurethanes can also be coloured to most required specifications using conventional dyes and pigments. Alternatively, cured parts can be painted after they have been cleaned, sanded and then coated with the appropriate primer. This is particularly useful in the automotive industry to replicate finished components or body panels. Assorted electronic components
