2 COMPANY PRESENTATION Fusiontec is specialized in the production of superstructure and glass contact blocks for forehearths and working-ends, safety and insulation bottom paving tiles for melting furnaces, as well as special shape blocks. Our manufacturing program includes a wide range of monolithic items that span from 1 to Kg. in weight. Our in-house wood working shop is capable to produce over 98% of the patterns required for a complete scope of supply. Our lead times are on the average very fast thanks to the data management system that controls any step from the computer assisted pattern design to the flow of the entire manufacturing cycle. By the same system, we are in control at any time of the progress status of each and every item in course of manufacturing. Owing to our five high temperature firing furnaces, we have achieved a great flexibility, that enables us to guarantee rather fast terms of delivery. Our multi-axis servo-controlled grinding equipment enable us to manufacture refractory items and assemblies of the highest dimensional accuracy. The consolidated close cooperation with SSV (Stazione Sperimentale del Vetro) of Venice, that is just one hour drive away from our factory, is enabling Fusiontec to control consistently and continuously the quality and the characteristics of its products, just like one in-house quality control laboratory. The technology we are using comes from more than 30 years of experience, research and development. At Fusiontec, we are implementing the mission to keep on improving our process know-how to enhance our performance in terms of products quality and customer service. Our manufacturing range starts with materials with 44% to reach up to 99% Al2O3 content passing through several grades of mullite and fused mullite. We make Zircon Mullite products from 10%ZrO2 to 30%ZrO2. We invite you to take a look at the attached Refractory Data Book, that shows a comprehensive range of materials, including some categories that are not within our own production range, but essential however to offer a complete scope of supply. The refractories selected in the above said Book, are of first class and we guarantee their origin from qualified manufacturers. We do regularly update the Data Book in order to be always in touch with changes deriving from raw materials and technological process modifications.
