1 Power-Bolt Heavy-Duty Sleeve PRODUCT DESCRIPTION The Power-Bolt anchor, is a heavy uty sleeve style, self-locking anchor which is vibration resistant an removable. It is available with a finishe hex hea or flat hea with a hex key insert an can be use in concrete, block, brick, or stone. Expansion occurs at two locations within the rille hole. First, the cone is pulle into the large triple-tine expansion sleeve, eveloping a mi-level, compression force. Further turning causes the threae bolt to avance into the threas of the expaner cone, forcing its four sections outwar. This action engages the base material eep in the anchor hole, greatly increasing the holing power of the Power-Bolt. The bolt an cone remain locke together which prevents loosening uner vibratory conitions. The Power-Bolt is also esigne to raw the fixture into full bearing against the base material through the action of its flexible compression ring. As the anchor is being tightene, the compression ring will crush if necessary to tightly secure the fixture against the face of the base material. The internal bolt of the Power-Bolt is removable an reusable in the same anchor sleeve making it suitable for applications such as mounting machinery which may nee to be remove for service an for temporary applications such as heavy uty form work. The tolerances of the rill bit use must meet the requirements of ANSI Stanar B1.1. Blow the hole clean of ust an other material. Do not moify the anchor or avance the bolt in the anchor assembly prior to installation. Drive the anchor through the fixture into the anchor hole until the bolt hea is firmly seate against the fixture. Be sure the anchor is riven to the require embement epth. Tighten the anchor by turning the hea to 4 turns past finger tight.
