This versatile pup is engineered to provide low total cost of ownership and exceptional leakage protection in extreely corrosive and environentally critical applications. While the TB-MAG boasts any innovative design eleents, the key to its proven perforance is its revolutionary dynaic thrust balancing syste. This cleverly engineered syste eliinates the need for thrust bearings and results in highly efficient operation with outstanding reliability, even in applications containing solids. Engineered for Better Perforance Efficient perforance over the entire flow range is achieved by eans of a dynaic thrust balancing syste. Back wear rings offer superior solids handling capability by restricting solids larger than.127 (. in) fro entering the containent shell. Effectively, only clean process fluid reaches the sha and bearings for proper cooling and lubrication. Double-sealed inner agnet assebly uses a heretically sealed stainless steel sheath to protect the agnets fro corrosive pereation. Rotoolded ETFE liner provides a echanical bond with the casing and is rated for full vacuu. The rotoolding process enables the use of advanced volute geoetries for higher efficiencies. One-piece ETFE Ipeller and Inner Magnet Assebly ensures axiu torque transission, siplifies aintenance and eliinates balancing. Enclosed ipeller with unobstructed eye delivers high efficiency and low NPSHR. Powerful Neodyiu Iron Boron (NdFeB) Magnets axiize torque transission. Double-sealed Inner Magnets offer unatched resistance to corrosive pereation by sheathing the agnets in 316L stainless steel before they are injection olded into the ipeller assebly. One-piece Coposite Containent Shell consists of araid and carbon fiber reinforced ETFE for optial leakage protection and corrosion resistance. Sintered Alpha Pup Sha is oversized to handle all radial loads. Stationary cantilevered design eliinates suction-blocking sha supports to axiize flow and iniize NPSHR. Tande Sintered Radial Bearings are process lubricated and separately ounted for optial alignent with the sha. Individually replaceable, they utilize a PTFE center spacer to aintain proper bearing position. IEC D-flange or NEMA C-face Motor Adapter with integral foot ates to existing ISO or ASME (ANSI) baseplates. 5 flowserve.co Back Wear Rings Front Wear Rings Clean, Filtered Liquid Revolutionary Thrust-Balanced Design The INNOMAG TB-MAG eploys a dynaic thrust balancing syste that eliinates the need for thrust bearings. Pup reliability and longevity are increased over conventional net thrust forward designs. Pup efficiency is also iproved, and operating costs reduced correspondingly. Dynaic Control Effective over the entire pup operating range, the TB-MAG autoatically responds to changes in flow, pressure or viscosity to balance axial thrust. Balance is achieved through the cobined action of the back wear rings and a variable orifice created by the ipeller assebly and the front of the sha. The fixed clearance between the wear rings regulates the flow of fluid behind the ipeller and into the balance chaber. The variable orifice governs the pressure in the balance chaber. As operating conditions (and the associated axial thrust loads) change, the ipeller assebly responds by oving axially. This oveent increases or decreases the size of the variable orifice, causing pressure in the balance chaber to decrease or increase, in turn. The resulting change in balance chaber pressure autoatically copensates for the change in operating conditions and aintains thrust balance. The variable orifice opens and closes to dynaically control the balance chaber pressure. Superior Solids-Handling Capability For agnetic drive pups, solids can cause significant daage when in contact with the radial bearings, inner agnets and containent shell. The TB-MAG prevents this by using silicon carbide back wear rings to restrict solids larger than.127 (. in) fro entering the containent shell. Effectively, only clean liquid can reach the bearings and pup sha. Trouble-Free Maintenance The TB-MAG offers any features designed to expedite aintenance and keep associated costs low: Standard back pullout eases general aintenance and inspection. The casing stays in-line and the piping connections reain intact. Contained back pullout siplifies drive end aintenance. The process fluid reains fully confined, thereby eliinating the need to drain or purge the pup. Plus, aintenance personnel are kept safe fro exposure to potentially harful process fluids. Fully assebled replaceent kits are available for all ajor coponents, including: ipeller asseblies, containent shells and casings. All silicon carbide coponents, including rotating and stationary wear rings, are 1% replaceable. All ating and exposed etal surfaces are coated in a preiu epoxy/epoxy polyaide prier and an aliphatic acrylic polyurethane top coat to resist atospheric corrosion.
