Very good grinding performance and resistance to wear. The all-round bond for grinding customer-specific tungsten carbide solutions Grain size: D46-D91 Concentration: 100 N43 (cermet application) This open pore bond offers good grinding performance for efficiently grinding high performance cutting materials like cermet. Grain size: D46-D64 Concentration: 100 T22 (ceramic application) Excellent resistance to wear and good grinding performance. Not suitable for very fine grain sizes. 11 Grain size (FEPA) The grain size of the diamond- and CBN grinding grain used is adapted to the task as well as to the required surface finish quality. Grain type / cutting material Depending on the task at hand, we use different grain types made of diamond and CBN. The two types differ in terms of their characteristic properties (splintery, block-shaped, free-cutting, etc.). diamond CBN Bond We use the following bonding systems for grinding the tool inserts: Synthetic resin bonding, multi-layer Metal bonding, multi-layer Ceramic bonding, multi-layer Concentration For multi-layer bonds (R,M,V), a grinding agent concentration is selected that permits the longest possible tool lifespan and results in the required surface finish quality.
