2 To fulfill the required quality standards of the industries, our foundries are placing high emphasis on the supervision of the complete casting process. During the melting process, the chemical analysis is kept under strict control for optimum cast product quality. Beside the correct chemical composition it is necessary to make an appropriate heat treatment, in order to obtain the optimum mechanical properties. To ensure these quality attributes, our foundries are working with PLC controlled LPG fired heat treatment furnaces. The following equipment is applied to achieve the high quality -Spectrometer -Metallurgical microscope -Tensile testing and bending machine -Ultrasonic flow detector -Magnetic particle testing -Dye penetrant crack detecting -Hardness testers and other devices In addition to a further surface treatment by shot blasting concludes the whole casting process, to prepare the shot blasted and fettled parts for delivery, presumed the dimensional and quality conformity. 2
