The rests are mainly used for downstream producing procedures (such as cold rolling, coating and electrical steel products etc.). 7 Conventional Continuous Hot-rolled Products Shipbuilding Steel This series of products has a strict control on chemical composition of steel as per requirements of domestic and international shipbuilding standards CCS, GL, BV, DNV, LR, NK, KR, RINA or GB712. The use of controlled-rolling and controlled-cooling process as per carbon equivalent in hot-rolling leads to stable chemical composition and excellent mechanical properties. The surface of steel plates is flat, the edge is even, and the diagonal bias is small. The precision of size is high, and the thickness difference of the same plate is small. The steel, with about 0.1% copper, has a good corrosion resistance. The steel also has a good welding performance with a low carbon equivalent.

11 General Carbon Constructional Steel This series of products has low chemical composition and high-intensity, i.e. C and Mn content lower than that of all similar products at the same intensity level in China. And the plasticity is better. Given full play to the advantages of controlled-rolling and controlled-cooling of the equipments, high-performance products can be produced with low chemical composition. This will help improve the plasticity, the toughness, the cold stamping performance and the welding performance of steel. The specific hot-rolled process as per carbon equivalent will help improve the precision of product size and bring about high hit rate. Goods can be delivered as steel plates, steel coils and slitting strips to meet different needs of users.

15 Carbon Constructional Quality Steel This series of products is with clean steel and low content of P and S. The composition of C and Mn is low, and the process of controlled-rolling and controlledcooling as per carbon equivalent is used. This leads to moderate intensity, high plasticity, good cold stamping performance and good welding performance. The structure of plates is homogeneous with small grains, and the difference of mechanical properties between vertical and horizontal is small. The surface is flat and smooth with good coating performance. Goods can be delivered as steel plates, steel coils and slitting coils to meet different needs of users. 25 Container Steel A special rolling unit for centralized rolling has been established in the production process of this series of products. The key technical parameters are strictly controlled and managed. The physical indicators of quality are much higher than the corresponding values of the JIS standard. The addition of rare earth microelements has improved the form of harmful inclusion such as sulfide, so that SPA-H & SM490A steel has an excellent cold-bending processability. The accuracy to thickness of the steel plates is high and the difference between vertical thickness and horizontal thickness is small. The steel plates have good shape and surface quality after rolling and levelling. The use of converter in steel-making and in-mold feeding rare earth wire pouring in continuous casting has made the steel clean with low content of P & S.
