5 B222 THREAD LOCKERS Anaerobic adhesives cure only in the absence of air and in the presence of metal. They cure to form a tough durable polymer which exhibits excellent chemical and environmental resistance. SCREWLOCK - Purple Low strength threadlocker Ideal for low strength threadlocking where easy disassembly may be required. Used on all small fasteners to prevent loosening through vibration and where sealing through thread fastening is required. 6 B569 THREAD SEALANTS Bondloc liquid thread sealants replace traditional thread tape, sealing metal pipes and fittings. They fill the voids between threads and curing to provide a leak proof seal. They seal instantly to allow for low pressure testing and when fully cured provide a high pressure seal. Uncured anaerobic sealant is completely soluble in hydraulic fluid, oils, petrol and most industrial chemicals and so will not contaminate lines. B542 HYDRAULIC SEALANT - Brown B569 Hydraulic Sealant is a high strength thixotropic liquid which cures anaerobically to form a tough, high pressure seal on all types of threaded couplings used on low, medium and high pressure lines. Ideal for finer threads used in hydraulic and pneumatic applications requiring zero contamination. Seals up to 400bar on 20mm fittings. Can be dismantled with tools or excessive heat. Pack Size: 10ml, 25ml, 50ml, 250ml B567 HYDRAULIC SEALANT - Brown B569 Hydraulic Sealant is a medium strength thixotropic liquid which cures anaerobically to form a tough, high pressure seal on all types of threaded couplings used on low, medium and high pressure lines. Used on all types of hydraulic connections. Seals up to 400bar on 20mm fittings. Easily dismantled with hand tools. Pack Size: 25ml, 50ml, 250ml GENERAL PURPOSE PIPE SEALANT - White B567 is an easy to break sealing and locking action product that gives an instant low pressure seal. It provides an instant seal up to 1000psi and seals up to 10000psi when fully cured. The fast curing time allows quick assembly and prevents galling. It has excellent solvent resistance and withstands temperatures up to 204 C. B567 is ideal for stainless steel, aluminium, galvanized metal and other inert metals. Pack Size: 65ml, 250ml B577 AGA APPROVED THREAD SEALANT - Yellow B577 Pipe Sealant is a high viscosity thrixotropic gel paste which cures rapidly, sealing instantly to 10bar. When cured it resists pressure up to 350bar. Suitable for gas. 7 RTV SILICONE SEALANTS The Bondloc range of silicone adhesives are designed to be the answer to your sealant problems. These versatile and durable products offer exceptional performance in all kinds of demanding sealing and bonding applications. They are best suited for large gap applications and stamped metal assemblies. Silicone sealants in general have the following physical properties: Wide operating temperature 115 to +300 C Excellent electrical properties Flexibility UV resistance Good chemical resistance Resistant to humidity and water No or low toxicity RTV (Room Temperature Vulcanizing) silicones cure using the moisture in the air. The different types of silicones are described by the small amount of chemical by-product produced during curing. The most common systems are: Acetoxy Oxime Alkoxy or Methoxy Acetone These alternate curing mechanisms will lead to varying physical properties. The chemical by-product will also have an impact on the products suitability. It is therefore important to consider the materials being used and the operating environment before selecting the most appropriate RTV to use. RTV products should not be used to produce a seal more than 10mm thick. This is because the silicone will cure to form a moisture proof membrane which then prevents any curing below 10mm. If a seal greater than 10mm is required, then the seal should be built up in layers of approximately 5mm. Allowing for curing before applying the next layer. Skin Time: the time taken to form a touch dry skin on it s surface. The silicone must be in contact with the bonding surfaces before it starts to skin over. Cure Time: the time taken for adhesion to cure through. The chemical reaction will continue after the cure time for several days, before all the physical properties have been reached. This must be taken into consideration before testing or exerting undue demands on the product. PG 3

8 RTV SILICONE SEALANTS BNC SILICONE BNC Silicone (Natural Cure) is a single component, low modulus, oxime curing silicone sealant / adhesive. Can be used on all glazing and industrial work along with common building and construction joints. BNC Silicone can be used on a wide variety of materials including metal and PVC. Pack Size: 310ml Cartridge RTV 1,2,3 SILICONE RTV 1,2,3 Silicone is a single component, high modulus acetoxy curing silicone sealant / adhesive that cures at room temperature to provide a permanent flexible seal and bond. Suitable for sealing aluminium and metal fabrications, butt and channel glazing, most industrial applications (gasketing up to 250 C), refrigeration and hygiene seal. Available in Clear, White and Black Pack Size: 80ml, 310ml Cartidge B5299 SILICONE B5299 Silicone is a high temperature single component, high modulus acetoxy curing silicone sealant / adhesive that cures at room temperature to provide a permanent flexible seal and bond. Suitable for sealing aluminium and metal fabrications, butt and channel glazing, most industrial applications (gasketing up to 350 C), refrigeration and hygiene seal. Available in Red and Black Pack Size: 220ml, 310ml RTV FOOD SAFE SILICONE RTV FS is an easily applied acetoxy silicone sealant. Specifically developed and approved for use with food applications or where food contact may occur. Ideal for sealing around kitchen work tops and food preparation areas. Excellent adhesion to a variety of non porous substrates such as glass and ceramic tiles. Mould resistant. FDA No 21 CFR , ISO G25HM Pack Size: 310ml PG 4 RTV FIRE RATED SILICONE RTV FR is an alkoxy neutral cure silicone sealant for sealing of joints where fire resistance must be maintained. It has a 4 hour rating. Excellent primerless adhesion to most common building materials. The fire retardant used does not contain halogens or isocyanates. Used as perimeter joints around fire doors, expansion joints, connecting joints to fire proof walls and ceilings. Resistant to UV, moisture and temperature fluctuations between 30 C and +150 C. 9 RTV SILICONE SEALANTS B5180 NON SETTING GASKET - BLUE B5150 is a non setting gasket, free from solvent problems of other formulations and stays flexible when cured. Ideal for engine gaskets, cylinder heads, water pumps, gear boxes, threaded assemblies, flanges and pipe joints The product cures to a non hardening consistency, forming an instant seal that will not crack, chip or flake. Resistant to petrol, steam, mineral and vegetable oils, common solvents and most chemicals. Operating Temperature -50 C to +150 C Pack Size: 75ml B5190 FLEXIBLE GASKET - RED B5190 replaces the old conventional, filled products to suit all types of engine surface preparation. Can be used on all types of engine components withstanding temperatures up to +350 C intermittent, +280 C constant. Specific applications include diesel/petrol engines, fuel injectors, pumps, cylinder heads. 10 GASKETING Bondloc anaerobic gaskets are suitable for small gap filling and rigid metal-to-metal assemblies. They do not shrink when cured, can easily be dissembled and resist high pressure when fully cured. Referred to as Formed-in-Place Gaskets, the Bondloc anaerobic gaskets are applied as a fluid to one of the flange surfaces. When the parts are assembled the sealant fills gaps and surface irregularities to form a tough, flexible seal. B510 B5410 GASKET SEALANT - Pink B510 is a fast set, form-in-place gasket maker for all types of metal parts, sealing and resisting temperatures up to 200 C. Used for sealing any shape or size of high temperature application, dressing gaskets or making rigid assemblies. Pack Size: 50ml, 65ml, 250ml B515 B515 FLEXIBLE GASKET - Purple Flange Seal B515 is a smooth, thick paste. Cures to Form-in-Place a tough, flexible gasket to give an instant low pressure seal. 11 RETAINERS Bondloc retaining compounds are used for the assembly of press and slip fitted parts. They increase the load bearing characteristics of cylindrical joints, reduce assembly costs and seals the assembly to prevent corrosion. Retainers fill the microscopic gaps that exist between machined surfaces to provide a complete contact between mated parts. B603 B603 OIL TOLERANT RETAINER - Green B603 is an oil tolerant Anaerobic formulation designed for direct use on as received parts such as those with oily films. B603 is used as a conventional high strength retainer on cleaned parts with strengths up to 28N/mm² or as an all purpose locker on oily parts with >20N/mm². Where possible remove thick deposits of grease or dirt, however B603 will penetrate the film once it has been tightened. Hold time: <15mins Static shear strength (degreased): 25N/mm² Static shear strength (oiled film): 21-24N/mm² Use of primers not recommended. Pack Size: 10ml, 25ml, 50ml, 250ml B620 B620 HIGH STRENGTH RETAINER - Green B620 is a high strength, high temperature, high viscosity retaining compound. It locks and secures metal cylindrical assemblies up to 0.2mm. Particularly suitable for applications where temperature resistance up to 200 C is required. Provides a fast hold time: 5-7mins Short ultimate cure time: <6hrs Static shear strength of 30N/mm² Pack Size: 10ml, 25ml, 50ml, 250ml B638 B638 HIGH STRENGTH RETAINER - Green B638 is designed to give High Strength Retention under cyclic loading. B638 will retain it s full strength and not suffer fatigue under load stress. It is suited to structural components such as cylindrical parts under dynamic load, keys, splines and even structural tubing with close tolerance fit. Provides a fast hold time: 5-7mins Short cure time: 6hrs Static shear strength of 30N/mm² Pack Size: 10ml, 25ml, 50ml, 250ml B641 B641 BEARING FIT - Yellow Bearing fit B641 is medium strength retaining compound. It will secure all types and sizes of bearings, shafts and cylindrical parts which require disassembly in the future. 12 B648 RETAINERS B648 HIGH TEMPERATURE RETAINER - Green B648 is recommended for High Strength securing where continuous working temperature is rated up to 180 C. B648 is a medium viscosity retainer dealing with gaps up to 0.15mm. It is used for securing all types of cylindrical parts such as bearings, gears, splines, pulleys and keyways. Also suitable on stainless steel parts. Provides a fast hold time: 5-15mins Short cure time: 2-6hrs Static shear of 25N/mm Pack Size: 10ml, 25ml, 50ml, 250ml B660 B660 METAL FILL - Silver Metal Fill B660 is a press fit repair compound designed to quickly refit worn parts and reach handling strength fast. It is a metallic silver/grey cream which is non run and is used to fill and repair spin out, fretting and small imperfections on close fitting metal parts to enable temporary repairs. Pack Size: 50ml, 65ml, 250ml B680 B680 HIGH STRENGTH RETAINER - Green B680 is a high strength anaerobic adhesive. It gives best resistance to dynamic, axial and radial loads. Recommended for retaining shafts, gears, pulleys and other cylindrical parts. 13 CYANOACRYLATE ADHESIVES Cyanoacrylate adhesives cure through reaction with moisture held on the surface to be bonded. It is the alkaline nature of the surface moisture which causes the polymerization. Cyanoacrylate adhesives generally have low viscosities and therefore need close fitting joints and usually solidify in seconds. B401 B401 is suitable for difficult to bond surfaces. Ideal for porous materials such as rubber, wood, paper, cork and leather. It s low viscosity allows it to be used on close fitting parts. It has a high viscosity which gives it good gap filling capabilities. A general purpose adhesive, good for bonding metals, plastics, wood, rubber and many other materials. It is an excellent rubber and plastic bonder and also suitable for difficult to bond materials such as polyethylene, polypropylene, teflon and silicones. 14 B460 CYANOACRYLATE ADHESIVES B460 is a low odour, low bloom (frosting) adhesive, used where cosmetic appearance is important or vapour irritation is an issue. It has a low viscosity and so is ideal for close fitting parts. A general purpose adhesive, good for bonding metals, plastics, wood, rubber and many other materials. It is ideal for bonding plastics, rubber and metal to metal. B480 is black in colour. 15 STRUCTURAL ADHESIVES Bondloc Structural Adhesives utilise a wide range of resin bases in order to provide users with the best possible product for each individual application. The range of high strength Structural Adhesives are fully compatible with modern manufacturing processes and capable of providing even greater flexibility in component strength. EPOXY STICKS B2001 METAL EPOXY A hand kneadable epoxy putty that mixes in one minute for permanent repairs to many substrates. May be applied underwater. Bonds to fiberglass, metal, wood, concrete and glass. Hardens in 10 minutes, full strength in 24hours. Ideal for repairing tanks and drums, patching holes in pipes, stopping leaks and repairing porosity holes in castings. Pack Size: 114g B2002 ALUMINIUM EPOXY A hand kneadable epoxy putty that mixes in one minute for permanent repairs to most aluminium surfaces. The mixed epoxy turns from a silvery colour to Alloy upon curing. After final cure, it can be drilled, sawed, tapped, sanded and painted. When applying Aluminium Stick to surfaces it is necessary to work the material forcefully into the surface and apply pressure until adhesion begins to take effect. Pack Size: 114g B2003 PLASTIC EPOXY A hand kneadable epoxy putty that mixes in one minute for permanent repairs to most plastic and fibreglass surfaces. The mixed epoxy turns from an aquamarine colour to fiberglass white upon curing. After final cure, it can be drilled, sawed, tapped, sanded and painted Pack Size: 114g EPOXY RESINS B MINUTE EPOXY Bondloc B2012 is a two part, rapid cold curing epoxy adhesive. Suitable for bonding a wide range of surfaces including steel, aluminium and galvanized iron. B2012 reacts within a few minutes to give a tough resilient clear bond. Pack Size: 28ml, 50ml B SECOND EPOXY Bondloc B2060 is a two part, rapid cold curing epoxy adhesive. Suitable for bonding a wide range of surfaces including steel, aluminium and galvanized iron. B7063 DEGREASER B7063 is used for the cleaning of components prior to bonding, depositing a correct balance of neutralising ions on the surface, stimulating attraction for the adhesive and preparing the surface for bonding. Colour: Slightly off white Pack Size: 400ml B7769 BRAKE & CLUTCH CLEANER B7769 brake and clutch cleaner is designed to loosen dirt from all associated parts of the brake and clutch mechanisms. It assists in the cleaning of automotive components prior to stripdown and service/re-assembly. Base: Silicone Colour: Colourless Liquid Pack Size: 400ml B7775 COPPER ANTI-SEIZE B7775 is a high temperature lubricant designed to be used in a wide variety of industrial applications as a general purpose grease or high temperature lubricant. It is a general copper enhanced lubricant offering improved durability, reducing wear and extending component life at elevated temperatures. 17 PRIMERS / ACTIVATORS Primers / activators serve 2 purposes. They activate inactive surfaces and speed curing time. They also speed curing in larger gaps and deep threads B7471 B7471 is used to increase the cure speed of anaerobic products. It is especially recommended for applications with inactive or passive metals or large bonding gaps. B7471 is also recommended where the temperature is low (<15 C). B7471 is an Acetone based solvent. Pack Size: 200ml, 400ml Please note: up to 30% strength loss in the anaerobic can occur when using an activator B7649 B7649 is used to increase the cure speed of anaerobic products. It is especially recommended for applications with inactive or passive metals or large bonding gaps. B7649 is also recommended where the temperature is low (<15 C). B7649 is a Heptane based solvent Pack Size: 200ml, 400ml Please note: up to 30% strength loss in the anaerobic can occur when using an activator B7455 B7455 activator is used for the fast curing of cyanoacrylates, depositing a correct balance of neutralizing ions on the surface, stimulating attraction for the adhesive and preparing the surface for bonding. It is primarily designed as a plastics compatible accelerator or for post curing outside the bond line. B7455 also prevents absorption of the lower viscosity super glues into porous surfaces. Pack Size: 50ml, 250ml B770 B770 Polyolefin Primer is used to make polyolefin and other low energy surfaces suitable for bonding with cyanoacrylate adhesives. It is only recommended for difficult to bond substrates which include polyethylene, polypropylene, PTFE and thermoplastic rubber materials. B770 is not recommended in assemblies where high peel strength is required. 18 ANTISEIZE LUBRICANTS The Bondloc Anti-Seize range has been developed to protect metal parts from corrosion, galling and seizing and reduces wear in heavy pressure applications. Mated parts can be removed more easily and in a clean condition. B771 NICKEL ANTISEIZE Graphite and nickel fortified lubricant. Withstands temperatures from 54 C to 1500 C. Lubricates and seals in harsh chemical environments. Recommended for metal fittings and pipe threads in environments where a clean inert lubricant is required. Pack Size: 500g Brush Can. B772 COPPER ANTISEIZE Graphite and copper fortified lubricant. Protects metal parts from high temperature, seizing, galling and corrosion at temperatures from 30 C to 1000 C. Copper antiseize can be used on copper, brass, cast iron, steel, all alloys including stainless steel. Can also be used on plastics and all non metallic parts. Pack Size: 500g brush Can. Also available in an aerosol. See B7775 on page 13 B773 SILVER ANTISEIZE Graphite and metallic flake fortified lubricant. Withstands temperatures from 54 C to 1100 C. A heavy duty, general purpose lubricant, recommended for close tolerance assemblies, fine threads and tight slip fits. Specifically designed for the same applications as Copper Anti Seize but where there is a prejudice against the presence of copper or lead. It is particularly recommended for use where contact with chemicals that react with copper is likely to be experienced and where lead must be excluded from possible contact with foodstuffs and potable water. 21 MERCHANDISING Bondloc offer 2 sizes of merchandising stands. A free standing 16 product stand and a more compact 8 product stand which can either be wall mounted or used as a counter display. Most Bondloc products come blister packed which can be displayed on the hooks provided with the stand.
