The leather has a smooth wax treated surface for easy maintenance, good durability and excellent comfort. ROYAL NUBUCK NATURAL GRAIN - SILKY SOFT / RAW HIDES / made in Europe Our selected special ROYAL NUBUCK is our most exclusive leather with a natural velvet like surface. This soft touch leather has a texture that changes colour and shimmers depending on the direction the pile faces. The ROYAL NUBUCK has a Natural Finish, with Scotchguard integrated into the process for protection. All Friends & Founders leathers are genuine. Consequently over time, the surface will become smoother, shinier and the colour will become lighter. Part of the beauty of living with real leather is that you leave your own personal mark on it. If you care for the leather it will last longer and patinate beautifully over time. Each type of leather has its own characteristics and different quality. Natural marks such as Insect bites / Scars / Neck wrinkles / Beauty marks may occur. Colour difference and variation in the natural grain can occur from one leather hide to another, and even within a single leather hide. COLOUR DEVIATION FROM SAMPLE MAY OCCUR STONE HONED MARBLE - SILK MATT SMOOTH FINISH - NON-SEALED Our selected marbles ranges exclusive genuine marble stone that originates from Europe; black marble from Belgium, black and white marble from Spain and Portugal and the rare green scandinavian marble from an exclusive quarry in Sweden. All marbles within the collection have their own characteristics with different quality and appearance. Some stones have extraordinary veins and other more homogeneous patterns. The marble from Friends & Founders has a beautiful silk matte finish which enhances the expression of the natural raw material. GREEN MARBLE - origin Sweden Light green marble with white / dark green veins. MARBLE - origin Belgium Black monochrome marble, appear without veins. Fossils occur. MARBLE - origin Spain Black marble with white veins. WHITE MARBLE - origin Portugal White marble with grey veins. Marble is a genuin product and natural marks are therefore common. Calcareous spar: Looks like crushed crystal and stems from open water veins in the stone where the lime from the water has settled. Dark parts / Veins: Caused by deposits of a mineral. The material s porous acid-sensitive nature makes it prone to etching and staining. Wear and patina will occur over time. With right treatment you can ensure it will look its best for many years and patinate beautifully over time. 22

Our ASH wood items are manufactured in Sweden. This natural hard wood quality is ideal for furniture and table tops. The characteristics of ash wood is the naturally beautiful grain. The wood is stained and lacquered with a matt, smooth surface treatment for easy maintenance and good durability. Natural marks such as grains, wood grain knots and variations in grain patterns can occur. The lacquer protection prevents water or other liquids from penetrating the wood on contact. It also makes the surface more stain resistant. The laquere does not protect the surface against scratches. Wear and patina will occur over time. SAND CASTED ALUMINIUM BLASTED - RAW FINISH OR POWDER COATED FINE TEXTURED FINISH - made of 100% recycled aluminium - origin Sweden Friends & Founders range of planters are uniquely casted by hand - one mould for each item produced, carefully crafted into timeless elegance according to traditional methods. Our SELECTED coatings have a brilliant visual effect due to the sparkling mineral finishes that give the surface depth and a refined, soft feel. The fine textured finishes add a decorative matt appearance to the furniture owing to the slightly granulated surface. Our powder coatings are UV resistant and highly suitable for sunny environments. ORDERS Purchase orders must always be placed in writing to The order is considered to be definitely accepted after a written order confirmation has been issued. The Buyer is responsible for reviewing all order acknowledgements. Objections regarding the confirmation must be received within 2 days, cancellations and changes must be approved by FRIENDS & FOUNDERS. Orders for custom designs and upholstered furniture can not be changed or cancelled once the order has been confirmed in writing by FRIENDS & FOUNDERS. For orders specified with COM / COL, the buyer is responsible for the purchase and the delivery of the upholstery. The goods shall be properly marked for identification. Samples for approval may be needed, any costs shall be covered by the buyer. The buyer is responsible for the quality of the material and also for sending the right amount for consumption. Friends & Founders is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect handling in matters regarding customers own material. PRICES All prices according to valid price list. Friends & Fonders reserves the right to change specifications or prices without prior notice, due to sudden changes of costs. Quotations and orders may change during the period from order confirmation to delivery if there is significant change in (e.g.) commodity prices or government charges and taxes. Prices are regarded as recommended excl. VAT, and binding only when confirmed in writing by Friends & Founders. Quotations submitted by Friends & Founders are valid for 30 days. Prices in the price list are excl. installation, transport cost and additional transport packaging (pallets, special crates and consolidation of goods). DELIVERY All deliveries are according to INCOTERMS 2010 and stated on the order confirmation. Confirmed delivery date is an estimated date. Friends & Founders has the right to change the delivery date and can not be held responsible for any costs that may result from a delay in delivery or a nondelivery. The items shall be sent with standard packaging, unless otherwise agreed. EXW shipments shall be picked up no later than 5 days after notification. Friends & Founders have the right to charge for storage of orders postponed by the buyer. Delivery charges are stated on the order confirmation depending on size of order and delivery location. Direct delivery to end client results in an additional cost and relevant knowledge about address, access, contacts, etc, must be given in forhand. Surcharge for fixed deliveries or other special non standard delivery solutions. PAYMENT TERMS Unless otherwise agreed, payment shall be made in accordance with the terms and conditions of payment indicated on the invoice and order confirmation. The payment shall be transfered in the currency stated on the invoice. Orders of a certain specialty will be delivered against prepayment or bank guarantee. Interest and additional cost will be charged for overdue payments. TRANSPORTATION COMPLAINTS AND NON-CONFORMITIES The buyer shall inspect the shipment immediately upon receipt. Claims for shipping damage or missing number of packages must be reported immediately to the carrier, which shall also be stated on the delivery note / waybill after receipt of products. Visible transport damages of goods and packaging shall be photographic documented. Complaints of defects or non-conformities shall be made in writing and sent to Friends & Founders within 5 days from delivery date (reported together with attached images and signed waybill). The claim is rejected if these procedures fail. WARRANTY There is a 2 year warranty against manufacturing defects in standard products (materials and structures) and only for upholstery included in the pricelist. The warranty does not cover COM / COL ordered as Buyer s own or special material. Wear and damage to upholstery, surface treatment or similar, shall not be covered by the warrenty if the products show signs of incorrect or extreme use or other physical damage or poor maintenance. Friends & Founders obligations shall not include the consequences of unusual use or storage under extreme climate conditions or use which is not in compliance with Friends & founders instructions or any normal use of the product. In case of modifications of the standard product or unpropary installation of the product - the warrenty shall lapse. PRODUCT CLAIMS AND RETURNS Complaints about defects in the product must be sent to Friends & Founders in writing along with photographic documentation. Deficiencies in the product cannot be invoked later than 1 year after delivery date. Friends & Founders shall remedy non-conformities by replacing the products with identical or comparable products. The buyer shall not be entitled to cancel the purchase in full or in part or demand reduction in price, compensation or repayment, unless the non-conformity is caused by intentional or gross negligence on the part of Friends & Founders. Items may be returned only after prior written agreement. Return goods shall be propertly packaged. The buyer bear the transport cost and risk of any defective products returned to Friends & Founders, unless agreed otherwise. PRODUCT LIABILITY In case of injury to a third party caused by defective products delivered by Friends & Founders, losses exceeding DKK are not covered by Friends & Founders. Furthermore Friends & Founders is not liable for any indirect losses. FORCE MAJEURE Friends & Founders cannot be liable for delayed or failed deliveries caused by unexpected circumstances that are beyond Friends & Founders control due to strikes, natural disasters, transportation, problems with raw materials, sub-contractors or other unforseen events. RESERVATION Friends & Founders reserves the right to make any necessary changes to product design and specifications, without prior notice. Reservations are made for any typographical errors, Friends & Founders accepts no responsibility for errors in pricing, texts or measurements. Friends & Founders reserves the right to alter these terms and conditions. All material provided by Friends & Founders shall be approved before use for PR and marketing purposes. Friends & Founders name and brand may not be missused to promote another company or brand. Images, texts or context may not be edited without approval. Any disputes concerning the general terms and conditions for sale and delivery shall be settled in accordance with Danish law. All design rights reserved by Friends & Founders. 24
