Procedure I II III IV V Add Selvol Ultalux AD to water with agitation at C. Heat to 65 C for 30 minutes. Allow phase A to cool to 40c, then add the ingredients of phase B in order, with gentle mixing for 15 minutes. Add the ingredients of phase C at room temperature with gentle mixing for 30 minutes. Add NaCl with mixing. Solution will thicken. Adjust Viscosity with additional NaCl, if necessary. Adjust ph with 20% citric acid. 4 Hydrating BB Cream - Selvol Ultalux SC PHASE INGREDIENT WT% A B Selvol Ultalux SC Deionized Water Ethanol Glycerine Laureth-20 Butylene Glycol Polyglycerol-3 Glycolic Acid Mineral Oil Dimethicone Glyceryl Stearate Stearic Acid Procedure I Add Selvol Ultalux SC to water with agitation at C. Heat to 65 C for 30 minutes. II Cool to 40 C and add the other ingredients of phase A in order with mixing III Transfer Phase A to high shear mixer and add ingredients of phase B in order, mixing at high shear until the solution is homogenous and milky. *Be careful not to overheat at shear head.* IV Allow mixture to cool to room temp and add the ingredients of phase C in order with mixing for 10 minutes. V V Add ingredients of phase D individually at rpm for about 3 minutes, to ensure good pigment mixing, while minimizing heating near the shear head. At room temperature, add the ingredients of phase E individually at low shear.
