3 CENTARI 50 RECOMMENDED USE Surface preparation. Clean surface with water and soap.. Degrease with 399S. Wipe dry with clean cloth. 3. Repair according to damage.. Sand: dry mechanical P30 - P00 (finally with P500 will give best results); wet P800 - P Degrease with 390S. 6. Wipe dry and tack rag. Topcoat application On well prepared surface, apply full coats with 0 min. flash between coats. Chemical resistance When fully cured, Centari 50 is resistant to short exposures of the chemicals as listed: sodium hydroxide 0 % battery acid sulphuric acid 0 % toluene hydrochloric acid 0 % xylene phosphoric acid 0 % glycol ammonia 0 % brake fluid, petrol Equipment cleaning Use 3608S. 5 CENTARI 50 REPAIR SYSTEMS Spot repair. Clean surface with water and soap.. Degrease with 399S and wipe dry with clean cloth. 3. Repair with recommended undercoats.. Sand primed spots as recommended. 5. Prepare complete blending area with an ultra fine sanding pad or with 600S. 6. Degrease with 390S. 7. Wipe dry and tack rag. 8. The following spot repair methods can be used: - AK50 Centari Blending Clear method; - AK350 Centari Blending Thinner method. AK50 Centari Blending Clear method Apply st coat Centari 50. Flash time: 0 min. () () Extend nd coat Centari 50 beyond the previous one. Flash time: 5 min. (3) 3 Apply coat of the activated blending clear over the entire panel. Activate 7 parts AK50 with part AK60 or parts of AK50 with part of 56S. Use mixing rod. AK350 Centari Blending Thinner method Apply coats Centari 50, extending nd coat beyond the st. Flash time: 5 min. Dilute part of the remaining Centari 50 with part AK350. Apply coat extending beyond the previous ones. () () () (3) 3 Dilute part of the remaining paint with part AK350. Apply another coat extending again further into the panel. ➃ Mistcoat repair zone immediately with pure AK350. If necessary, balance out the gloss level by polishing with 500S or 3000S after complete hardening of the repair. REF C50- - ANZ - p. 5-5
