1 MDV SERIES THREE WAY BALL VALVES 1/2 THRU 12 ANSI 150# THRU ANSI 2500# FULL PORT AND REDUCED PORT BLOW OUT PROOF STEM METAL AND SOFT SEATS The Jarecki MDV Series ball valves are available in a variety of materials, end connections, and seat materials. This series is an economical alternative to piping systems using multiple valves to divert flow. Jarecki valves are built for applications in the Pulp and Paper, Petrochemical, Petroleum, Chemical, and Power industries. Features Tight Shut-Off. Live Loaded Packing Every Valve Is 100% Tested Temperatures Up To 1200 deg F Available With L-Port or T-Port

2 Specifications Flanged end connections meet ANSI B16.5 Minimum wall thickness and design meets ANSI B16.34 Valves are tested per ANSI FCI API 598 / Class V/ Class VI Shut-Off Available Live Loaded Packing System Blow-Out proof stem design to ensure workman safety. Tight tolerance between the stem and the stem thrust washer allow for precise stem to ball contact. Live-Loaded stem packing to compensate for temperature fluctuations and normal wear. Care is taken not to over torque the stem packing at the testing facility. This provides the customer with the longest packing life possible. At the same time, it keeps the valve torque at a minimum. Reliable Shut-Off Tight shut-off is accomplished by grinding every ball to very tight tolerances, carefully radiusing each individual seat to its mating ball, and then carefully lapping them together. All MDV Series bodies are machined on precision 4 axis equipment. This ensures proper alignment of all 3 ports. This is critical for tight shut-off, low torques, and a longer service life. Every valve that leaves the plant has both a hydrostatic and seat leakage test performed on it. Also, any actuation which is mounted on the valve is tested at our facility as well. The customer is assured a good valve when it is put in service. Reliable Body Seal The MDV Series metal seated ball valves use only high temperature spiral wound body gaskets. The body and end connections are bolted with a metal to metal contact to ensure that proper compression on the body gasket is achieved. This metal to metal contact also guarantees that the dimensions inside the valve are correct. The torque is constant, and both the body and seat seal gaskets will always have the proper compression. The body gaskets are completely contained in a tongue and groove making it impossible for gasket blow-out to occur. Superior Spring Design Superior choice in maintaining spring force during temperature fluctuations. More accurate spring rate provides for a consistent load and low torque performance. Solids resistant. Unique design allows this spring to be used in slurries and fine solids applications unlike our competitors springs. The space savings by using this spring allows for a thicker guide seat which is optimal for severe service applications.

3 SEAT STYLES G Seal - Graphite Sealed Seat O Seal - Graphite Sealed Seat GRAFOIL GRAFOIL A series of Graphite seal rings behind the metal seat, coupled with a Graphite outer diameter seat seal, prevent media from building up behind the seat. The rings also allow for expansion of the internal valve components in high temperature applications. Temperature Range: 200 to 1200 deg F Application: Steam, Abrasion, High Temperatures, Fine Solids Shut-Off: Class V A double seal design providing both spring loading and excellent sealing capabilities. There is no area for media to build up behind the seat, which prevents the valve from locking up. Temperature Range: -150 to 650 deg F Application: Steam, Abrasion, Low Pressure Differentials, Fine Solids, Emulsions Shut-Off: Class V, Class VI, Bubble Tight P Seat - Spring Loaded T Seat - Reinforced TFE Seat For unidirectional applications. The sealing seat is available as a separate seat ring for reparability, or integral with the tailpiece for high temperature applications. The spring seat OD seal prevents media from building up between the spring and the back of the seat. A glass filled TFE is used typically used for most applications. A metal filled TFE Seat is available for increased abrasion resistance and reduction to cold flow. The metal filled seat is excellent for tight sealing in higher pressure classes without the need of a trunnion mounted valve. Temperature Range: 400 to 1200 deg F Application: Steam, Low Pressure Differentials, High Temperatures Shut-Off: Class V, Class VI, Bubble Tight SPECIFICATIONS Temperature Range: -250 to 450 deg F Application: Steam, Low Pressure Differentials, Emulsions, Nonabrasive Media Shut-Off: Bubble Tight ANSI B16.34 *NACE MR ANSI B16.5 *API 607 ANSI/FCI *API 598 *MSS-SP-72 *Jarecki Valves Can Comply With The Above Specifications Per Request
