Ltd., Mandi Gobindgarh (Punjab) India, established in 2012 is a Steel & Iron manufacturing Company comprising a fully integrated SMS, Foundry, Machine Shop and heat treatment facilities. The plant covers an area of 14,000 sqm. over a total space of 32,000 sqm. With a rated capacity of 30,000 MT per annum. BLIPL is one of the leading integrated Steel Foundries in the world. Since its inception, BLIPL has invested heavily in automated, state of the art production technology and a highly skilled work force to maintain its competitiveness and to meet customer's genuine demands. Employing most modern technologies and equipment BLIPL has secured its position as an established manufacturer and supplier of Cast Metal Rolls for all types of Hot Steel Rolling Mills. Material grades range from Base Adamite, SGI Nodular Pearlitic, SGI Nodular Bainitic Accicular to Alloy Indefinitie Solid Chill consisting of 0.5 Tons to 10 Tons in finished weight of single Roll, Barrel Dia starting from 300 mm to 1500 mm and Length of Rolls up to 5000 mm. To ensure BLIPL products to achieve maximum net output productivity and cost effectiveness, considerable effort is devoted towards monitoring Roll performance in every type of rolling application. The objective is to be competitive by placing emphasis on minimizing Mill Operating Cost and TCO (Total Cost Ownership) rather than initial purchase price alone.

3 PRODUCTION FACILITIES METAL ROLLS & RINGS STEEL MELTING SHOP We are a leading Rolls manufacturing company in North India, growing at a fast pace since its inception in the year We are proud of our strategic achievements as a leading player across India. BLIPL is equipped with 8 MT melting capacity medium frequency Induction Furnace with twin shell facilitating the production of liquid metal over 15 MT in weight. 1. FORGING ROLLS : EN-8, EN-9, EN-42 & more CASTING ROLLS : We are manufacturing following types of Rolls : MOULDING SHOP ALLOY STEEL BASE ROLLS (ADAMITE) BLIPL has all necessary facilities in Moulding Shop like Tools, Tackles & Patterns using Modern Roll Founding techniques. These Rolls are alloyed with Nickel, Chromium, Manganese and Molybdenum with Carbon content between % and 2.00% as well as little amount of Vanadium is also added for the improvement of better microstructure. So these are capable of a higher mechanical strength with thermal and wear resistance. These Rolls undergo a sophisticated multi-stage high temperature Heat- Treatment (Double Annealing followed by tempering cycle) to give the combination of hardness, toughness and wear resistance required for the particular application. The lower Carbon grades will have a structure consisting of ferrite and fine Pearlite which, as the Carbon content is raised, transitions to a fully Pearlitic structure and on to one containing free carbide in a matrix of fine Pearlite and even some Bainite for the highest Carbon grades. All rolls of this material are statically tangentially single poured. Multi stage heat treatment is carried out to achieve optimum physical properties for various applications. 4 SPHEROIDAL GRAPHITE (NODULAR) CAST IRON (S.G.I PEARLITIC) ROLLS SGI BAINITIC ACCICULAR ROLLS These Rolls are essentially an Indefinite Chill type material, but with the Graphite in Nodular form instead of flake and having alloyed with higher % of Nickel & Molybdenum along with Carbon. So these rolls have a much higher Mechanical Strength and allow the use of an iron Rolls in applications which would re-present too high a duty for a flake iron quality due to internal 'notch effect' of nodular graphite is relatively small. These rolls are very much suitable for the rolling of row products with vide range of applications due to its hardness penetration, good wear resistance and tough necks, this material has become a benchmark. These Rolls are stronger and more wear assistance with respect of Rolls and are capable of much higher hardness because S.G.I. Bainitic Accicular is more alloyed with very higher % of Nickel and Molybdenum than the S.G.I Pearlitic and as a result, the accicular roll material has a bainitic matrix with increased carbide. The name of this material is based on its constituents of nodular graphite and carbides in an accicular (needle-like) bainitic matrix, also called Lower Bainitic. These Rolls become a benchmark in the rolling of long product and in suitable for a vide range of applications due to its hardness penetration, good wear assistance and tough necks. All rolls of this material are statically tangentially single poured. Harder grades have a Bainitic-Martensitic matrix with an increased amount of carbides. The presence of flake graphite improves spalling resistance and also enhances resistance to fire-cracking. All of these properties combined with the excellent surface finish make AIC Alloy Indefinite Chill very suitable for rolling flats sections and similar products where surface finish is critical. Due to alloy additions, hardness penetration is better than that of a clear chill roll and this material may be used in applications with deeper groves such as small and medium section rolling and also for finishing billets. The Casting process involves Pattern Making, Moulding, Heat Treatment, Fettling & Machining. Steel Plant & General Engineering : We are catering to general Engineering industry for their requirements in special grades (EN-8, EN-9 EN-24, EN-19, ASTM 148, IS 1030, ASTM A216, IS 2708, C45, C20 and any other grades as per requirements) ranging from 5kgs to 15 MT single piece.
