Complex Fabrication Intricate profiles can be cut with Waterjet machine followed by CNC press brake and welding to creat complex fabricated structures. Heavy Fabrication Thick plates can be rolled, bent, welded and machined in our facilities for heavy fabricated structures. Heavy Machined Structures Large thin-walled casting can be manufactured in our foundry, and machined using large DMC, plano Millers, and Radial Drill machines. Cast Iron Parts Our foundries can manufacture large or small castings of Ductile or Grey Iron grade, which can subsequently be machined as per requirement.

5 About Us Lagan was set up in 1955 by James Mackie & Sons, Belfast, Northern Ireland, for manufacturing Jute Machines. Having run under the Government of India from 1978 to 2000, the controlling stake in the Company was disinvested to Murlidhar Ratanlal Exports Ltd., a Rs 700 Crore company involved in Jute manufacturing. Lagan is professionally and independently run with representation on the Board of Directors of International Textile machinery consultants, Jute Industry stalwarts as well as chairman of PSUs. Lagan has received Export Promotion Award from Textile Machinery Manufacturers Association for the last four years continuously. Over the years, Lagan has maintained the highest standards of quality and extensively modernized its machinery and infrastructure, enabling it to be a major engineering player in Eastern India.
