Toxicity Data: Ipr-Mus LD50: 3500 ug/kg Chronic Toxic Effects: Chronic copper poisoning is typified by hepatic cirrhosis, brain damage and demyelination, kidney defects, and copper deposition in the cornea as exemplified by humans with Wilson s disease. It has also been reported that copper poisoning has lead to hemolytic anemia and accelerates arteriosclerosis. Acute Toxic Effects: Irritating to the skin and eyes on contact. Inhalation will cause irritation to the lungs and mucus membrane. Irritation to the eyes will cause watering and redness. Reddening, scaling, and itching are characteristics of skin inflammation.
