2 General Description Doo Sung has developed conductive coating paste that is designed to provide EMI/RFI Shielding for the electronic devices (e.g., case of mobile phones) on the insulated substrates. Doo Sung s conductive coating paste is composed of thermoplastic polymeric binder and pure silver as conductive fillers. This product is formulated in low VOC that can little affect solvent-sensitive sensitive substrate such as polycarbonate (PC). Low viscosity enables to spray or brush on various substrates. Applications Mobile Phones RF Amplifier Modules Automobile Applications Wireless Components Computer Peripherals IMT 2000 Military Equipments and so on. Part No. (Ordering Code) IDP - AAA (1) (2) (1) Serial Number: Doo Sung EMI conductive paste (2) Diluent Type 01S : solvent-based system Characteristics 1. Excellent EMI shielding performance 2. Excellent conductivity and adhesion to most polymeric substrates (especially PC and PC alloys) 3. Low resistivity at thin film build 4. Excellent film cohesion 5. Applicable to a variety of purposes as EMC solutions 2/6

3 Typical Physical Properties P/N IDP-01S Content Conductive filler System Binder Solid content 46.0 Diluent Coverage (Dry film) 1) Volume resistivity 2) Silver Solvent-based Thermoplastic 46.0 ± 1.5 (wt. %) Ethanol, Acetone (Especially, EtOH : paste=1 :1 is recommended at volume ratio, the converted weight ratio is 1 : 1.84). 1) 12.5 μm 2) Max Ω cm Drying time 15 min at 60 Shielding effectiveness 3) (30MHz~1GHz) Viscosity (sec) 4) Min 70 db 4) 14.0 ± 2.0 1) Recommended coating thickness, it is dependant on the weight of paste and affects on electric properties and shielding effect. 2) Volume resistivity tested by point-to to-point ( mm 2 ) method after spray of 0.19 ± 0.05g and drying. 3) Shielding effectiveness tested following ASTM D4935 method. 4) Viscosity measured by #2 EZ Zahn Cup (EtOH ( : paste=1 : 1 at volume ratio). How to Use 1. Dilution: Ethyl alcohol can be added if you need (1:1 at volume ratio). 2. Mixing: Thoroughly mix this product by mechanical stirrer before use (More than 30 min. is recommended). 3. Spray or Brush: The highest efficiency can be achieved due to minimization of over-spray losses. 4. Drying: 15 min at 60 3/6
