2 Tradition with Future In 1865 August Dango and Louis Dienenthal established a non-ferrous metal foundry in Siegen. DANGO & DIENENTHAL was born. Initially special blast furnace fittings were produced. In 1901 the first clay gun and in 1936 the first forging manipulator were developed and manufactured. Since the mid-fifties, the company additionally developed and produced liquid filters as well as equipment for temperature measurement, monitoring of the filling level of metallurgical vessels, gas analysis, and material distribution in blast furnaces and other metallurgical plants. special equipment for blast furnaces and the taphole equipment for reduction furnaces. However, DANGO & DIENENTHAL continues to manufacture these machines. The product range has continued to expand and today it includes special handling equipment for open- and closeddie forges as well as for ring rolling mills, skimming technology for steel works, technology for reduction furnaces, and filter technology. Today TMT Tapping Measuring Technology, a joint company of DANGO & DIENENTHAL and PAUL WURTH, develops and designs the Rainer Dango Arno Dienenthal 19 th Century Traditional values, such as reliability and diligence, are complemented by innovation and quality improvement on a worldwide scale. Experience gained over decades is the foundation for progress and success. The staff of DANGO & DIENENTHAL is agile and flexible in industries where it comes down to consistency and longevity. 3 High Performance Precise Flexible Forging and Handling Technology For open- and closed-die forging plants as well as for ring rolling mills DANGO & DIENENTHAL supplies high performance forging manipulators, handling equipment, and heavy-load robots. These machines work with a high degree of accuracy yet are flexible in their application. The maintenance-friendly designed equipment supports the highest possible productivity of the forming plants. Other auxiliary equipment for such plants round off the product range of DANGO & DIENENTHAL. Technology for Reduction Furnaces For generations unimpeachable charging and stoking machines made by DANGO & DIENENTHAL have been working at reduction furnaces. Since the space on the furnace platform is quite often very limited, DANGO & DIENENTHAL supplies compact and manoeuverable vehicles for charging the furnace as well as for distributing the material. Systematic charging, stoking, and distributing by means of automatic programcontrolled machines essentially improves the reduction process and the working conditions.

4 Safe Reliable Functional Skimming Technology DANGO & DIENENTHAL equipment allows for reliable and safe removal of slag from molten metal in pig iron ladles, steel ladles, and other metallurgical vessels. In addition to skimming machines, DANGO & DIENENTHAL, as a system provider, also supplies auxiliary equipment, such as ladle tilters and automation engineering. Remote control, also with TV monitoring, is optional. Visualization of operating parameters as well as integration into a host system is possible. All machines are easy to operate, simple to maintain, and very compact in design. Filter Technology For more than 50 years DANGO & DIENENTHAL has installed various filter types worldwide that can be used for the most varying purposes of liquid / solid filtration. The product range includes, apart from manually operated filters, self-cleaning filters and separation units. In 1990 an independent company, the DANGO & DIENENTHAL Filtertechnik GmbH, was founded especially for sales, development, and engineering of these products. The filter systems are manu factured at the Siegen headquarters of DANGO & DIENENTHAL.
