4 4 KCR08 CHROME GRADE KCR08 CHROME GRADE KCR08: NEW STANDARD UNIVERSAL GRADE

5 KCR08 CHROME GRADE 5 KCR08: the standard for the future Our chrome grade for universal cutting applications now available as a standard. The proven submicron chrome grade with a specially alloyed binder can be used in a wide variety of different materials including Particle boards & melamine laminated particle boards HDF- / MDF-boards Hard- and softwood Composites Customers using our KCR08 chrome grade are pleased by its excellent improved corrosion and oxidation resistance, balanced with improved wear resistance. Physical and mechanical properties Grade The performance benefits reduce the frequency of tool changes and optimise the overall efficiency. Upgrading to the new KCR08 standard is simple: any existing HC05 reversible knife or profile blank can now be converted to KCR08 without price premium. Advantages: High efficiency due to significantly longer lifetime of tools (typically +20% compared to HC05) Excellent resistance to corrosion, oxidation and mechanical wear Optimised toughness Suitable for a wide range of cutting applications and materials Binder content Hardness Fracture toughness (SEVNB) T.R.S. 7 KCR02+ FOR MDF/HDF APPLICATIONS 7 KCR02+: the grade of choice for MDF/HDF applications New nano-grain grade for maximum wear resistance. KCR02+ is our new nano-grain grade for highly abrasive man-made materials such as MDF and HDF wood panels. KCR02+ combines the mechanical properties of the proven ultrafine-grain grade SMG02 with the benefits of a specially alloyed binder providing improved toughness and resistance to corrosion. The highly wear-resistant grade is available for preseries in standard and custom saw tip geometries and knives, please check with your local sales representative.
