2 SPECIAL STEELS About us Kadimi Special Steels is a leading steel company in India. We are an Indo-Japanese joint venture between Kadimi and Nakagawa Steel. Our plant is located in Sriperumbudur, 25 kms from the port of city of Chennai. We are the largest automated steel processing plant for wire rods in India and have an annual capacity of 84,000 MT. We offer high quality Steel Wires that are used in the production of automotive fasteners, cold forged component, bearings, chains and springs. We accomplish our supreme quality by combining state-ofthe-art equipment along with Japanese commitment to quality. Company History Kadimi Special Steels is promoted by Kadimi Group and Nakagawa Steels. Kadimi has close to forty years experience and is primarily focused in providing a large range of industrial products to fastener and automotive companies since The product range includes various Machinery, Steel and Tools, thus, offering a wide range of solutions to our customers globally. Nakagawa is in the business of trading special steel and has experience and expertise in manufacturing / processing of Cold Heading Quality Wires. With our goal of manufacturing the ultimate quality wire, we constantly innovate to have the best manufacturing practices in the country. 4 Pickling and Coating Capacity: Automated pickling and coating line of 84000MT/ annum During the pickling process, several surface treatments can be executed. The line is fully equipped with cleaning, pickling and phosphating as well as lime and double lime baths. This means that a large number of surface treatments can be applied to all types of wires as untreated, annealed and drawn wire.

5 Annealing Our customized bell type Hydrogen annealing furnaces assures uniformity of temperature and atmosphere to produce consistent properties that are required in CHQ wire. The spheroids are structurally consistent due to uniform temperature in the furnace, secured by high convection which is possible due to gas with good heat conductivity and high speed fans. The furnace's special AC/APEX system guarantee complete spherodization and protection against decarburization. We have the largest annealing batch capacity with the lowest cycle times in the country. This allows us to meet urgent demands of our customers.

6 Wire Drawing We have a wire drawing capacity of 40000MT/ year ranging from sizes m. We have provisions for eddy current testing to supply crack free material to our customers. Quality Assurance Our policy is to provide a system of continuous improvement in all aspects of our business. All our measuring instruments are sourced from Japan to ensure high precision. All quality checks and testing equipment are designed in order to ensure compliance with strict automotive standards set in Japan. In addition to chemical analysis verification, comprehensive in-house testing facilities enable us to offer: Tensile Strength Tests Hardness and Roughness Tests In line Eddy Current Tests Upset Tests Metallographic Structure Tests Elongation and Reduction of Area Tests

7 Environment Friendly Our plant is fully environmentally compliant. Our constant innovation and commitment to the environment has led us to use best practices to create a zero discharge facility. We are sparing no efforts to surpass the environmentally friendly standards. We are able to reuse 95% of the water that we use in this process.

With our innovative heat treatment and surface treatment capabilities, we are able to accord our products precisely the usage properties they need for their subsequent applications. 9 Surface Treatment To achieve the best surface properties and meet the varying demands of our customers, we offer our wire rods and wires in the variants Pickled Lime Treated Double Lime Treated Phosphate Coated *Combinations of the various processes is also possible. Heat Treatment We are supplying the heat-treated products for which the uniformity of spherical structure, mechanical properties and coating quality are dramatically improved through our fully customized bell type furnace. The products show excellent cold forging features and improvement of the life span of metallic patterns. Furthermore, our equipments show outstanding results for heat treatment of both SAE1045 and Bearing Steels which are delicate in heat treatment.
