33 TURNING GRADES Z12 This grade has a functional gradient substrate with low content of cobalt which provides a characteristic of stability and great wear resistance. The coating is a thick CVD with a main layer of AL2O3. It is an excellent grade for finishing and medium roughing of materials group P and K and in some conditions it could be used also for materials group M. This grade is suitable for continuous cut as well as moderate interrupted cut with very high cutting speed. Z6P This grade has a functional gradient substrate and a low content of cobalt with a unique dual coating obtained from the combination of CVD and PVD methods and a main layer TiN and Al2O3. It is an excellent grade for finishing and medium roughing of materials group P and K and in some conditions it could be used also for materials group M. This grade is suitable for good continuous and conditionally also moderate interrupted cut with high cutting speed. It is the most universal grade for turning, it has a functional gradient substrate strongly resistant to wearing and interrupted cut. The triple coating is composed of a main layer of TiCN with a CVD method. It is an impressive grade for finishing and medium roughing of materials group P, M and K and in some conditions it could be used also for materials group S. This grade is suitable for continuous and interrupted cut with medium and conditionally medium up to high cutting speed. This grade has a submicron substrate without cubical carbide. The coating is a thin CVD with a main layer of TiN. It is an outstanding grade for medium roughing as well as heavy roughing of materials group P and M, it is applicable also for group K and conditionally for S. This grade is suitable for unfavourable cutting conditions and interrupted cut with lower up to medium cutting speed. This grade has a submicron substrate type H and a nanostructural coating applied by PVD method. It combines good wear resistance and good operational reliability. It is a general purpose grade for materials group M,S,P and K. This grade is suitable for less favourable cutting conditions with medium cutting speed. ZKX It is a submicron grade without cubical carbides with low content of cobalt. This grade is for general purpose applications for all groups of work material except P. This grade is suitable for small up to medium chip cross section with steady cutting conditions. 166
