4 Precision Machining Advanced Machining Our long history over 40 years in producing precision components in turning, milling, and grinding are unmatched in the industry. We provide build-to-print precision machining, grinding, and heat treatment of virtually all materials. This includes the machining of exotic materials such as titanium, high nickel-based alloys, powdered metals, stainless steels, and a variety of hardened tool steel grades. Century facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art next generation CNC multi-axis milling centers, lathes, and grinding centers offering a wide variety of work envelopes to meet your needs.

5 Salt Bath Heat Treat Precision Milling To ensure our milling centers are the ultimate in cost-efficiency and performance, Century continually reinvests in the latest CNC technology available. We currently utilize the industry s most advanced state-of-art next generation 4 and 5-axis vertical and horizontal milling centers. 3, 4, & 5-axis milling capability Vertical & horizontal milling Up to 137 X 98 X 63 Up to 22,000 lbs. High velocity milling Precision Turning Century s cutting-edge turning capability includes advanced CNC horizontal and vertical lathes and multi-tasking Turn-Mill centers. Our Turn-Mill centers are world class in cost efficiency and accuracy combining turning and milling into one machine tool. 6 Heat Treating Consistent, Proven Results Century, Inc. operates one of the most modern and technically equipped heat-treating facilities in the country. By utilizing state-of-the-art instrumentation and controls, and an unsurpassed quality assurance program, we can provide the metallurgical structure and consistency of hardness necessary for maximum performance of precision parts.

7 Deep Salt Bath Century, Inc. continues to lead the thermal processing industry with the modern installation of its long length hardening line custom engineered, designed, and built to accommodate parts fully immersed to 110" in length. Ion Nitriding Ion nitriding has wide applications in several alloy steels, tool steels, and high-speed steels. Tools may be hung vertically from the top or loaded on the hearth plate, with an overall capacity of 6,500 lbs., 60" diameter, and 72" height. In-House Services Hardening Quenching Tempering Normalizing Aging & Annealing Precipitation Hardening Martempering Austempering Precision Straightening Stress Relieving Ion Nitriding Carburizing Carbonitriding Induction Hardening Cryogenic Treating Blasting & Cleaning Certifications AS9100 Certified ISO 9002 Registered NADCAP Accredited AMS 2750D MIL-H-6875 Vacuum Tempering Atmosphere controlled tempering ovens provide accurate temperature control and uniformity with excellent surface finish. Hot zones measure 60" x 60" x 60" with a maximum load capacity of 4,500 lbs. at 1250 F. Vacuum up to 12 bar with nitrogen gas quench. Hardening, Carburizing, & Carbonitriding Super Allcase hardening line designed for neutral hardening, carburizing, or carbonitriding. Multiple tempering ovens accommodate all material requirements and hardness ranges. Induction Hardening & Cryogenic Treating Hardening services include a horizontal induction deep case long length up to 150" and vertical induction long length up to 70". Our cryogenic treating cold chamber can accommodate load sizes to 36" x 36" x 50" up to a 4,000 lbs. and thermal processes to -300 F.

8 Automated Welding Automated Welding Recognized as a leader in advanced machining and heat treating, Century is also renowned for our technical expertise in bore cladding, overlay and inlay welding. The Century weld team services the subsea, offshore, and surface wellhead markets with corrosion resistant solutions for products that are exposed to hostile environments.

9 Secondary Operations Welding Services Century, Inc. has invested considerably in automatic weld overlay and bore cladding capabilities so we can provide our customers a full turnkey package. Century, Inc. is pleased to be DNV and ABS certified to several applicable weld processes.
