MAY CAUSE IRRITATION.... Contains Condensed Silica Fume CAS# and small amounts of oxides and salts of Al, Fe, Mg, Ca, Na and K. May contain Quartz (crystalline silica) CAS# at less than 0.5%.... Inhalation of dust may cause respiratory irritation resulting in coughing, sneezing and other nuisance symptoms.... Eye contact may cause slight physical or mechanical irritation.... Prolonged or repeated use may cause skin irritation and dryness.... Long-term exposure to airborne respirable Quartz (crystalline silica) dust can decrease lung function and create risk of silicosis, pneumoconiosis, lung cancer and other lung disease.... Read and understand all Health and Safety information on the product Label and Material Safety Data Sheet before use. 3024f NPCA-HMIS Hazard Index: o Health: 2 * o Flammability: 1 o Reactivity: 0

2 D MATERIAL SAFETY DATA SHEET Page 2 of 7 o Personal Protection: E (See Section 8) Potential Health Effects Routes of Exposure: Inhalation: This product contains micron-sized particles which can become airborne. Exposure to excessive airborne dust may cause irritation to the respiratory system resulting in coughing or sneezing, shortness of breath and wheezing. Inhalation may also aggravate chronic respiratory conditions such as asthma or bronchitis. Long-term exposure to respirable Quartz (crystalline silica) dust can decrease lung function and create risk of silicosis, pneumoconiosis, lung cancer and lung disease. Skin and Eye: Excessive dust may cause unpleasant deposit in eyes and cause irritation if rubbed. Fine powder may block pores in skin leading to irritation or skin rash. May also cause drying of the skin which can result in dermatitis. Ingestion: Oral toxicity is low and, therefore, not expected to be harmful if swallowed in small amounts. Carcinogenicity Information: Crystalline silica has been classified as a probable human carcinogen (Group 1) by the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC). The National Toxicology Program (NTP) has concluded that respirable crystalline silica is "reasonably anticipated to be a carcinogen" (N2) based on sufficient animal and limited human data. The substance is also recognized by OSHA as a carcinogen. SECTION 4 - FIRST AID MEASURES EYE: In case of contact, immediately flush with plenty of water. Consult a physician if irritation develops and persists. SKIN: In case of contact, wash with soap and water. INHALATION: If inhaled, get fresh air. If symptoms develop and persist, consult a physician. INGESTION: If swallowed, do not induce vomiting. Give victim a glass of water. Consult a physician. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.

Rating: H-1 F-1 R-0 Extinguishing Media Special Fire Fighting Procedures None Unusual Fire and Explosion Hazards Dry powdered materials can build static electrical charges when subject to friction. SECTION 6 - ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES U.S. RELEASES Observe precautions noted above. Collect using methods which minimize creating dust and place in suitable containers for recycle or disposal. CANADIAN RELEASES Observe precautions noted above. Collect using methods which minimize creating dust and place in suitable containers for recycle or disposal. SECTION 7 - HANDLING AND STORAGE INFORMATION Precautionary Measures:... Avoid creating dust.... Equip mixers and hoppers with dust covers.... Provide ventilation and respiratory protection.... Avoid contact with skin and eyes.... Wear skin and eye protection to avoid contact with dust.... FOR PROFESSIONAL USE ONLY. KEEP OUT OF CHILDREN'S REACH. 3025f SECTION 8 - EXPOSURE CONTROLS/PERSONAL PROTECTION/CANADIAN EXPOSURE LIMITS Ventilation: Local Exhaust: Exhaust fans may be necessary in enclosed areas. Mechanical: Exhaust fans may be necessary in enclosed areas. Special: Other: Respiratory Protection: Respiratory protection is recommended if dust is created while handling this product. A NIOSH-approved particulate respirator is mandatory if ventilation and engineering controls cannot prevent exposure above the limits specified in Section 2 of the MSDS. Silica fume has micron-sized particles. If irritation or breakthrough occurs while using a standard particulate respirator, a respirator of higher efficiency is suggested. 3026f

4 D MATERIAL SAFETY DATA SHEET Page 4 of 7 Skin Protection: Cotton or leather work gloves are normally appropriate. If irritation is noted, impervious gloves should be worn. Eye Protection: Safety goggles are recommended to prevent exposure if excessive airborne dust is created. Other Protective Clothing or Equipment: Normal work clothes. Work/Hygienic Practices: Use bag opening and disposal procedures which minimize dust release.
