11 Enclosure: 7 Manufacturing Prosess & Chemical Reaction & Mass Balance NORMAL BUTYL BROMIDE MANUFACTURING PROCESS: In reaction vessel take Normal Butanol+Sulfur+Water. Stir it. Than start addition of Liquid Bromine slowly. After complete addition of Liq. Bromine reflux it for 4½ hour then distill the product on next day. Normal Butyl Bromide and Residue transfer to reactor Regenerated Spent Sulphuric Acid. Takes in HDPE drums and packed it. CHEMICAL REACTION: C 4 H 9 OH + S + H 2 O + Br 2 C 4 H 9 Br + Dil.
