2 History Nissal-Newmet company was founded in Nis in It was originaly part of Copper Mill Sevojno but after moving the rolling mill to another location it was separated into an industrial enterprise for the processing and production of non-ferrous metals called Moravka. Soon the factory name was changed into ðuro Salaj and later to Nissal. At the moment of establishment, the factory had 132 workers and one old 400 tones press. Over the next twenty years it developed into a producer with more than 2000 employees. Today, complex of Nissal`s building and industrial facilities is located on 12ha. Production consists of five main production units: Extrusion plant, Drawing plant, Surface protection, Machining & Accessories and Foundry. Company has 364 employees, producing around 4000 MT of aluminium bars and 3000 MT profiles, with 85% of its production being sold in EU, Middle East and Far East. Company Nissal Newmet d.o.o. 3 Message from the owner Nissal Newmet has been present in the aluminium extrusion market for more than 6 decades with continuous supply of our products throughout Europe, Russia, Middle East and Far East. It is a recognizable brand associated with good quality products, resulting from a strong employee knowledge base and experience. The plant has an enviable infrastructure comprising foundry, extrusion and drawing plant, modern anodizing and powder coating equipment as well as machining plant, making it a rare all round production facility of its kind. Our goal for the future is to stabilize the dominant position in the domestic market and become an unavoidable factor in the region. Furthermore, we wish increase our presence by significantly increasing our capacity through introduction of new modern equipment thereby utilizing incredible economies of scale possibilities. Recent success and developments were a result of a clear focus on client service approach, allowing us to move forward with the implementation of our plans together with our partners. 3

5 FOUNDRY Capacity : 7200t per year (600t per month) Production program: billets in alloys series 2xxx, 5xxx and 6xxx Diameters of the billets: 6 and 8 inch The production is carried out in the induction furnaces for melting and casting as well as with the furnaces for homogenized annealing Equipment: JUNKER furnace 2 units SIEMENS furnace 1 unit 5

13 SURFACE PROTECTION ANODIZATION Plant was installed in Anodization of profiles and sheets up to 7.5m in length Installed strenght A Capacity: 600t per month Several possible finishes: satin-like surface, sanded, brushed, electrochemically dyed In accordance to QUALIANOD quality standard Anodization is done in accordance to Nissal-Newmet hue card 13

14 SURFACE PROTECTION POWDER COATING Producer of the equipment: GEMA, Switzerland Equipment was installed Powder coating of aluminium profiles and sheets up to 7m length, according to RAL technology Capacity: 300t per month In accordance to QUALICOAT quality standard 14

15 ACCESSORIES AND MACHINING PLANT MACHINING Accessories plant is doing machining of metal according to submitted technical drawing, guaranteeing quality and prompt delivery. CNC MACHINE Processing on CNC processing center FOM "FLEN". It is possible to quickly and precisely process parts according to submitted drawings. ACCESSORIES and FITTING A wide range of accessories that enable easy workshop and assembly on the ground, as well as fittings. 15
