1 Introduction Kemet MICROLOGUE contains a number of case histories describing various sample preparation methods and the resutls obtained by applying these methods. Microstructure consists of evenly distributed pearlitic and ferritic areas. Grain boundries are visible. Hardness is around 600 kg/mm² and has high wear resistance. To prevent edge effects, epoxy type mounting material is recommended.
