STEP 2 Thread the tail through both tabs and the bridge of the buckle. STEP 3 Using the Tensioning Hook and pulling in line with the buckle, tighten tail around bundle to the required tension. 27 Tensioning Tools For Stainless Steel Cable Ties E CSST 1 FOR STAINLESS STEEL CABLE TIES This tool is specifically designed for use with coated or uncoated stainless steel cable ties. Suitable for cable ties of thickness up to 0.3mm and width up to 7.9mm. Features a variable tensioning device and automatically cuts when the desired tension is reached. APPLICATION METHOD FOR CSST 1 STEP 1 Place the tie around the object to be secured. STEP 2 Insert the tail through the slot and into the ratcher jaw and tension by repeatedly pressing the tool handles together. STEP 3 After tensioning, move the tool with an up and down movement and twist the tool in a clockwise direction. This will shear off the tail adjacent to the cable tie head.
