The new intrinsiclly sfe industril mesuring probes were developed to meet the need of providing precise nd risk-free humidity monitoring in potentilly explosive res. This series sets completely new stndrds for esy mounting nd user-friendliness. The modulr dd-on concept consists of four prts tht cn be seprted from ech other (holder for wll mounting, housing bottom, electronic unit, nd probe), thereby substntilly simplifying mounting, opertion, nd mintennce. Verstile uses for lmost ll pplictions re possible in connection with five exchngeble probes. Reclibrtion of the industril mesuring probe is no longer necessry when replcing the probes, s ll clibrtion coefficients re lredy stored in the probe's memory itself nd then trnsmitted when connected to the centrl processing unit. Otherwise, the probe design types do not differ from the proven versions of the industril series tht offers 2 m, 5 m, or 10 m sensor lines. The specil sensor hed vrints tht permit use in n underpressure nd overpressure rnge from 0 to 100 br nd t high process tempertures of up to 180 C re lso vilble. The industril mesuring probes re extremely robust nd bsed on the ltest sensor technology. They operte sfely nd relibly in res with the constnt explosion hzrd of ctegory 1 (zone 0). Due to the microprocessor controlled electronics nd lrge number of options the industril mesuring probes cn be pplied with high degree of flexibility. When ordering, the user cn directly specify the configurtion of the industril mesuring probe. A subsequent on-site chnge in the configurtion is lso possible. The optionl softwre extension llows the integrted microprocessor to clculte bsolute humidity vribles such s dew point Td ( C), bsolute humidity (g/m³), mixing rtio x (g/kg), nd wet-bulb temperture Tw ( C).
